Well, getting your letter first thing in the morning was a nice surprise. However, I have to admit that I waited until the end of the workday to read it. I don't know why, but, it just felt like something I should read when I was alone and with a cup of coffee and PCT was the perfect place.

I know how you feel. It does suck that we haven't been able to spend some time. Come to think of it, this is probably the longest we have gone without talking to each other since we got married.

It's weird not having you beside me when I go to sleep, though waking up to you does make up for it.
You wish I was selfish enough to wake you up in the morning, but let's be honest Mr Malhotra, if this was the other way, you would be doing the same.

I hope you are relaxing, even if it is for a few minutes. Kamini Chachi has shown you a few deep breathing exercises; try to do those in your spare time. It won't do you any good if you keep getting stressed. The clients need their ace lawyer, but more than that I need my ace husband, preferably without a few nonsensical worries. Also, if people were smart enough to read their contracts, then what are we going to do with your job? How else do you plan to make money? I could hire you to work at PCT, but to be honest; you make the worst sous chef, let alone a chef.

Interns are the worst... Or so I've heard from Pushkar and Papa on multiple occasions. They used to bitch about them when you weren't here. I've heard all the terrible stories, but you can always tell me more if it helps you. I just have one request: try to make them over the top? Trust me, you'll enjoy it.

You definitely are a Dementor at work. I didn't want to say this, but Shravan, I've seen you make your assistant so scared, he begged me to deliver some paper to you. Everybody can't be a perfectionist like you. They are there to assist you, but they can only do that if you teach them how. They can't read your minds or know from a glance what you might need. They aren't your wife.

I have a solution for your intern problem. How about you make them sit down in the conference room, get some lunch and talk. After you're done, tell them to write everything down so that they remember the instructions. (That's how you used to make me learn school material, remember?)

There is no rush for you to finish your work. Would I love to have you at home at a decent time, of course, but I'd rather you didn't push yourself to the brink. I'm not going anywhere, Shravan. Finish all you have to and then we'll go to the Farmhouse for a few days to unwind.

Also, I think this is the right time to mention that I did, in fact, bicker with Pushkar last night. It was quite cathartic. Lol! Though, I feel Kamini Chachi kept on thinking about how she ended up with two adults as kids.

I can see your office light on, so it is another long night for you. Take care of yourself, especially when you are busy taking care of others.

I'm off to bed now.

I miss you too.

Sumo.
