Before It Ends.

Chapter 4: First date?

Right after we got our ice creams and took a seat at one of the tables, Tommys grandma showed up, she explained that she fell and cut her hand and her coworkers insisted on taking her to the holpital to get it checked out. She apologized so many times to Tommy and even to us. I told her that it wasn't a big deal and I asked her for a number so I can hang out with Tommy some more. She was so happy when I asked for it. She happily gave me her number and then they said their goodbyes. But before they did she thanked me one more time and told me that Tommy was bullied in school and didn't have any friends. I knew that feeling more than well. In that moment I decided that I would be taking Tommy somewhere every week or so. I wanted to make him feel like he has someone to talk to, because I never did. 

After me and Ari finished our ice creams, I walked her home. She wasn't lying, it wasn't that far away, in fact it was less then 10 minute walk from the ice cream shop. All the way to her house we were talking, just getting to know each other you know. I even gained some confidence and asked her on a date.. and she said yes. I was super happy, I don't think I have ever been happier actually.  

,,so who is it?" Lauren said with a smirk on her face as I entered our apartmant. 

I blushed and looked at my feet ,,how do you know it's someone?" I asked kinda schocked.

She just laughed ,,oh man, that smile on your face says it all" she said as she stood up from one of the kitchen stools and made her way right in front of me ,,plus you left hating the whole world and came back looking like you love literally everyone and everything. It looks like yo-" she stopped in her track and turned to look at me with her eyes wide opened ,,you didn't do anything stupid, right?" I've never seen that girl more frustrated in my life, I wanted to laugh so badly but I couldn't. I wanted to make it even better, so I stayed quiet and was just staring at her. She took a step closer ,,right?" she asked once more, this time little bit louder. I just stood there, not say anything. After a minute or so that we spent just staring at each other, I gave her a cheesy smile. 

The look on her face told me that she was about to kill me if i didn't tell her the truth in less than two seconds. I gave up eventualy, I started laughing so much. Lauren was just staring at me. I'm telling you, if look yould kill.. I would be dead. After a moment she punched me in my arm and started laughing too. I loved moments like these, it was a minut since I was this happy. Once we stopped laughing I hugged Lauren and quietly said ,,Ariana" 

She looked at me confused and then asked ,,what?" 

I smirked and turned around to walk towards my room. Once I was midway, I turned to look at her and this time little bit louder I said ,,Her name. Her name is Ariana and we are having a date tomorrow" before she processed what I said, I got the time to go sit on my bed. 

Lauren came running into my room second later. When she spotted me on the bed she didn't even hesitate and jumped on me ,,I wanna hear everything" she said with excitement visible on her face.

I just chuckled. She was such a child sometimes, but that was one of the main things I loved about her. 

After that I told her everything.. how I found her crying in the middle of the beach, how she had the same tatto as me, how we decided to have an ice cream and then meeting Tommy, how I walked her home and finally how I asked her on a date. All the time that I was talking about her, smile never left my face. I would say the same thing about Lauren but her expression went from smiling to smirking every now and then. 

We ended up talking the whole night. It was so good, but at the same time not that much. The next day I woke up tired as ever. I wouldn't care much normally, but that day was pretty important. Not only I had to go to the the police station with Camila, to tell them what exactly happened, but I had a date. I was excited but at the same time super nervous. I had a reason to be, I haven't had time to think about where I'm gonna take Ari. Yeah I just spent the whole night talking about her, but haven't thought about that. I know I am an idiot.
