Around two years ago today you met the love of your life, Carol Aird. You were sitting on your usual place in the coffee shop, you visited each morning, but that morning two years ago was different. It was only a coincidence that you happened to turn you head around, as she walked in. She wore light blue dress, that reached to her knees, and a big dirty blonde fur coat. Her hair was so perfect, despite the wind outside, a beautiful light blonde color, that shone in the light of the café. Her skin pale, which brought out her icy blue eyes. She wore almost no make-up, except some deep red lipstick, but she still looked like a goddess. Her cheekbones were sharp and looked like they could cut paper, it made her look even more beautiful. I took in her whole complexion, without evn noticing that I was staring at her, the worst part was I hadn't realized that she had moved, and was now standing in front of me.
"Hello," Oh god her voice was mesmerizing. That hello was what pulled me out of the trance I was in. Her voice was deep, but still so soft, the perfect match. Your cheeks immediately got a faint pink color, as you realized you had been staring at her for at least a few minutes.
"H-hi," you felt so stupid in a way, for having stared at her for so long, but you didn't regret it the slightest bit. Your slight stutter earned a short laugh from the older woman, oh god even her laugh was divine, could she get any better?
"Do you mind if I sit?" The older woman, Carol, nodded to the empty seat next to you. You simply nodded, slightly confused to why this woman that was way out of your league, wanted to talk to you of all people. We sat for hours and hours, talking and getting to know each other, we only stopped when a waitress came over to tell us they were closing.
"Oh my, time really does fly by when you have fun, doesn't it?" Fun? This woman, goddess, had fun with you, an average girl.
"Mh yes, I suppose it does." We both stood up from our chairs, walking towards the exit. Carol grabbed a small piece of paper writing down the number of her phne, or the phone to her house, as she called it. We both said goodbye, before heading seperate ways.
Around half a year later, me and Carol had been together almost everyday, except the days where I worked, we became inseparable, as one might say. And it was only after these six months, our first "kiss" happened, an accidental one. She had gone to kiss my cheek, and I had conveniently moved my head at the same time, causing our lips to meet. Surprisingly, neither of us pulled back, until we were out of breath. Cheeky, isn't it? That's how we shared our first kiss.
"Oh god, Carol, I'm sorry.." I apologized, even though she herself hadn't pulled away. Carol simply laughed at my attempt to apologize. Though I hate to admit it, I was as red as a tomato at this point. We talked about what had just happened, and what we wuld do about it. After around two hours of talking about it, we just decided to leave it, and see what happened.
Another six months went by, and I couldn't help myself, and ended up asking her to be my girlfriend. I internally panicked when Carol didn't answer immediately, but she only seemed to tease me, knowing damn well the affect she had on me. Her answer ended up being yes, and ever since that day, we've been happily together. Rindy, her daughter, officially became mine, when me and Carol secretly got married only months after we got together. Some might say it was rushed, but neither of us seemed to care the slightest bit.
We moved away from where Carol used to live with her husband, or ex-husband, to a house farther away from people, seeing how homosexuality was frowned upon in the 50's. The house we had bought was big, with plently of space for Rindy to play outside. As the months went by Carol and I only got happier and happier, and Rindy and I only got closer. Each day I would take the girl on a walk in the garder, or the nearby forest, I'd tuck her into bed, sing her songs, occasionally play the piano for her, and play with her for what felt like hours, whilst Carol watched and sometimes joined the two of us.
Now, you've gotten a small insight on how I met the love of my life, Carol Aird, and became a mother to a little girl called Rindy.
A/N: So, this is only the beginning. I wanted to write a background, before I started on the real story. If anyone comes a cross this, and reads it, I'd be happy if you left a small comment, about how you liked the backstory. Thank you!
