The Seperation War ~Max & Harvey Fanfic

I Promise

   It is finally Friday, the day before we finally find out the gender of our new baby, I had decided to stay the night at Emily's house. Max and Harvey had also decided to stay the night but they had to tell their mum that they were staying with Tom so she wouldn't suspect me to be there. Tom and Emily's Mum, Nancy, Had already known what had been going on with Sara so she was ok with all of us staying the night.

    I had gotten up before Harvey so I could get ready to go to Emily's house. I grabbed the outfit that I had picked out the night before, that I was going to wear to the baby shower, and folded it up so it wouldn't wrinkle, and laid it into the teal blue beach bag that I had decided to take with me to Emily's house. Alone with the outfit, I also decided to grab a pair of pajamas and an extra change of clothes just in case. I folded the extra clothes up and placed them into the bag along with the shoes that I wanted to wear tomorrow. I placed a few extra necessary items into the bag such as deodorant, perfume, and my hairbrush because I know that I will need them.

    After packing my bag I got changed out of my pajamas and decided to wear a pair of light blue jean shorts that I was able to stretch over my slightly large baby bump that was newly forming. I paired it with a larger baggy gray shirt and one of Harvey's hoodies that I took from him a while back. I grabbed my converses from the shoe rack and went and sat on my bed to put them on. After struggling with my shoes, I headed to my vanity to do a little makeup and put my hair up.

    When I was done getting ready, I grabbed my bag and headed down the stairs and into the kitchen where I found my mum finishing her breakfast and already dress to take me to Emily's. I placed my bag on the floor by the front door and walked over to talk to mum.

    "Good morning Mum. Are you ready to run me over to Emily's? I want to get there before the boys so Sara doesn't notice me there too."

"Yeah I'll meet you at the car," Mum said getting up from the table and walked over to place her empty bowl into the sink.

I grabbed the keys off of the counter and headed over to the door. I opened the door while mum started putting on her shoe and I walked out of the door and got into the car before Sara could see me. I shut the car door as I got in and watched as mum trailed behind, shut the front door, and walked over to the car. She opened the door and sat down gesturing to hand her the keys. I hand her the keys and started heading over to Emily's. Halfway there I get a text from Harvey.

Hey beautiful, Have you left for Tom and Emily's already?

Yeah, I'll be there in 5 minutes

Okay good. we are leaving in 15 minutes

When I finally looked up from my phone, I had seen that we had finally been pulling into the driveway of Emily's house. Mum pulled up to the house and put the car in park to let me out, I said goodbye to my mum as I grabbed my bag out of the backseat and shut the car door. I head to the front door and slightly knocked on the front door before turning around to see mom pulling out of the driveway. I heard the doorknob start to squeak from someone turning it and the door swung open to reveal Tom standing on the other side. His face had then lit up when he saw me standing there.

"Hey, Zo!" Tom chirped ecstatically, running to give me a hug. "how are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling good, but we better get inside before Max and Harvey get here."
