That Was Close

   The final bell for the school day had just rung and I headed outside to find Harvey. I started walking towards the bus to find Max and Harvey leaning up against the side of the bus waiting for me. I hurried up and sped my walk up to get over to them. I gave Harvey a kiss as he picked me up and held me for a minute and then set me back onto the ground. We walked onto the bus and sat in the back seat, right behind Kim and Tom. Harvey let me in by the window and sat down next to me and threw his arm around me.

    "So how was your day?" Harvey asked getting comfortable in the seat.

   "It was ok, the baby started to move a lot more today, so it was kicking me a lot."

   Before either Harvey or I could get another word out of our mouths, Kim poked her head over the bus seat and said, "speaking of the baby, what are we going to do about the baby shower? I mean Harvey, your mom is not going to let you come if she knows that's where your going to."

    Kim was right, Sara was never going to let the boys leave the house if she know they were going to this baby shower.

    Tom popped his head around the corner of the seat and said, "You could have it at Kim's house and just have your mum drop you and Max off at mine. We could walk over to Kim's when it's time. It's of course up to Kim thought."

    "God damn it Tom, your a genius! Kim can we? I mean would it be ok if we had it at yours?"

    "Of course you can!" Kim said ecstatically. " I can't believers saying this but Tom that was actually a good idea."

    "Hey I try and be smart sometimes," Tom defended himself. "So boys! Are we throwing eggs at each other tonight?"

   "Yep and there's the dumbass we love!"

    We all chuckled before realizing that it was mine and the boys bus stop. We got up and headed to the front of the bus and stepped down the steps and out the door. I gave Harvey a small peck on the lips before heading over to my house. I walked into the house and headed for the kitchen to grab a snack and then heard my phone go off in my pocket. I looked to see that Harvey had messaged me.

We have like 2 hours. She just texted me to tell us she would be late coming home

Ok, I'll be up in a minute

I grabbed an apple and started heading upstairs. I get to my room and shut the door. I walked over to my window and started to open it as I see Harvey doing the same. I climbed through my window and into Harvey's.

"You know I'm not going to be about to do this window hopping forever with this baby, right?"

"Yeah I know," Harvey pouted. " I'll have to started jumping through your window instead."

I chuckled and went to get comfortable on his bed. I started to feel awful by going against Sara like this, but Harvey needs his baby time, and he's not going to get it through a window.

Harvey curled up next to me placing his hands onto my stomach, feeling the baby kick. Harvey is going to be a great dad as soon as Sara let's him. She has always deprived from what he loves, and same with Max. She's always favored the younger ones because as she once said, " they were planned" unlike Max and Harvey. When we were younger, Harvey wanted to play football. Well Sara told him he couldn't because Leo wanted to start learning an instrument. Which was not right.

I then heard a car door shut and I looked over at Harvey with wide eyes. "I thought you said we had 2 hours!"

"She must have lied to me to see if I would sneak you over here," Harvey whispered getting up to open the window.

I then heard the front door open and I headed out that window as fast as I possibly could. I got through my window and got on my bed to shut my window and curtains and Harvey did the same but left the window and curtains cracked so I could see through. I peaked out the side of my curtains so I could see but no one could see me, I watched as the door slowly opened to reveal Sara standing on the other side of it.

I heard through the cracked window Sara say, " hey, how was school?"

"It was fine, but why would you care. You never have cared before," Harvey said still pisses at his mum.

Listen, I know your still mad at me. But just know I did this for your own good, you don't need the burden of a baby yet. Your only 18, you don't need that yet. Just look at me and your dad, we had you and Max when we were your age and regretted it at first. But then when we got older, and had Leo and Tilly, it was better and we were ready. But that doesn't mean that we love you boys any less then the other 2," Sara continued and started to piss Harvey off.

"Yeah ok, sure. You just don't want me to love anyone and actually be happy. I finally am with a girl that I actually love and just because we messed up, your going to keep me from her. Oh and that baby, yeah it will never be a burden to me like me and Max were to you, we will actually love our child. Trust me as soon as I find a place, I'm leaving and taking Zoey with me," Harvey said getting up off his bed and heading over to the door. "Now I would like you you get out."

"Fine, I'll get out but you will never move out of this house, trust me. You need me," Sara said walking out the door.

"No, I don't think I will," Harvey said shutting the door on his mum and locking it. He turned around and walked over to his window and opened it! "Hey Zoe?"

I opened my window and replied, "Yes Harv?"

"Do you want to move in together?" Harvey asked.

"I thought you would never ask"
