Peter Parker and the Avengers oneshot (On A Little Break)

3rd person POV

Peter parker is undeniable the most wholesome person in the world. Or, in the Avengers tower at least. He is always a bright ball of sunshine, he was exactly the part of the avengers they were missing.

He stopped Tony from drowning himself in alcohol.

He gave Natasha the son she could never have.

He made Steve feel more at home.

He redesigned Bucky's arm to not remind him of his past.

He gave Bruce a science buddy and the Hulk a real friend.

He gave Clint a pranking partner.

He helped Wanda with her nightmares.

And most importantly, he made them feel like a proper family. But there were things about the teen that they just didnt know. He only ever talked about him and his aunt May. Whenever they brought up any other family they just got the same shut down.

"They died."

Then a quick topic change. They didnt mind though. Everyone had secrets and they knew a lot about Peter. About his friends, Ted and DJ according to Tony, how he focuses his studies on biochemistry and biochemical engineering. That was another thing about the boy, he was smart. Scarily smart. He was a problem solver not a problem maker. That's why Cap let's him look at maps of mission locations. He always knows enter the best place is to ambush, to enter and to exit, and he has never once failed them.

*time skip named steph. Be kind and say bonjour*

Tony, Bruce and Peter had been only working in the lab a while before the adults noticed something was wrong. Peter was constantly zoning in and out of conversation and work. He hadn't once made a vine reference and the Hamilton soundtrack wasnt blaring loudly in the background.

"Are you okay Pete? You look tired" Tony asked concerned. He placed a hand on the teens forehead, checking for his temperature.

Peter scrunched his eyebrows as if trying to make sense of What his mentor was saying before it clicked for him.

"Oh. Em yeah. I'm just really tired.  I had a science test today and I em was studying all night for it. Yeah." He stumbled out. In a fast and jerking movement he stood up and said a quick goodbye before heading towards the doors of the lab.

"Hey- kid where are ya going?"

"I'm going to my room. Maybe get some sleep"

The two men shared a look as Peter went before getting back to their work.

*another time skip. How spoopy*

"Hey FRI what's Spiderling doing?"

Yes it was an invasion of privacy but the team was worried when Peter didn't come down for dinner. He was always hungry and Tony promised May he would make sure Peter ate before he got back to The Parker apartment.

"Peter is currently in his room taking pills from a capsule. I cannot scan the contents"

"SHIT" 

Tony, Clint, Bucky and reluctantly Nat, sprinted to the Teens room not bothering to Knock.

"You're doing drugs!? I cant believe you Peter!" Tony exclaimed.

Both Peter and Natasha rolled their eyes.

Clint grabbed the container from Peter's hand and shook his head.

"I'm so disappointed in you Peter. I thought you were a good kid but your taking" he glanced down at the container. "escitalopram."

Bucky shook his head in disappointment.

With a huff of annoyance, Natasha stood up and proceeded to whack each avenger in the room over the head, earning an 'ouch' from each of them.

"Escitalopram is an antidepressant dumbasses"

That brought on the biggest question.

"Why are you taking antidepressants Pete?"

"They are my happy pills. They help me concentrate and I was told to take them every morning and If I feel all numb inside."

"Why do you need them though kid?" Bucky asked.

"Well, after my Uncle Ben died I was diagnosed with PTSD. A few months later I was diagnosed with depression. Whenever I take them, and I swear sir I only take them the right amount and I would never take more then what I need, they make me feel a bit more like me. Not like the void and pain I'm used to mr. Stark. So much has happened since Ben left and my thoughts must kept getting louder and more violent. They upped my prescription but me and May couldnt afford it. So we stayed with what we are at now. They dont last as long because of my metabolism but they help me smile"

They stood shocked fir a moment before Nat spoke.

"Do you ever get suicidal thoughts baby spider?"

"No more than the normal amount?"

"The normal amount is none Pete"

"Come on group hug. I can pay for your prescription. Cant have my kid slacking off work" Tony joked and Peter cried happily into his chest as the hug continued.

"Clint remove your hand from my behind or I will not hesitate to use the carrots from dinner in a violent way."

"Sorry Bucky"

(An. Sorry this chapter was really bad I have so many ideas and no time to do them. I might have gotten a few things wrong in this chapter please correct me because I dont want to offend anyone or use wrong information.)
