Y/N and Hawks had finally left the trouble some crowd that made them hold the urge to bash their heads against a wall, even though they experience things like these frequently, it still makes them tired by the social interactions they make.
"Man, sometimes I regret being a hero." Y/N groaned out loud for Hawks who was beside her walking to hear.
They were walking in an alleyway, dangerous but effective to escape a large crowd.
"Tell me about it, but we have to do our job reluctantly, plus we were the ones who chose this career." Hawks reasoned and sighed tiredly.
Y/N just hummed in acknowledgement.
Y/N was still in her small crush predicament, she can't ignore her feelings since her heartbeat accelerated slightly when he was near her.
Ah, she hadn't realized she had zoned out.
"-and he kept shoving the damn microphone on my face!, talk about personal space." Hawks ranted, not aware that he had snapped Y/N out of her thoughts, on him most importantly.
"Y-yeah, I can't believe it either." Y/N stumbled on her words since she hadn't heard shit.
Hawks then had an idea
"Hey how about we go out and relief some stress this weekend, we can relax and take time off of our job for a day?" Hawks revealed his master plan, his face beaming in expectation facing towards Y/N making them halt.
"Er.. are you sure?, we have a shit ton of stuff to do and-" She was then cut off by the red winged man.
"I know, I know, but we can just make our assistants do some of it in the meantime!, we don't get much freedom anymore ever since we became heroes." Hawks eagerly persuaded getting close to her face, she was one of his closest friends and he wanted her to have a time off along him.
Y/N blushed slightly by how close his face was, not used to such actions, but luckily the dark alleyway hid the blush, it wasn't noticeable in the first place anyways.
Y/N sighed in defeat "Sure whatever." She accepted his offer and waved her hand to get him off her personal space, hypocrite.
Hawks backed off and silently cheered while Y/N just sighed for the 1727th time today.
