              Walking through the hills near Qingxu pool it was a warm day and I could feel the sweat dripping down my neck. My body had forgotten the warmth after being in Snezhnaya for almost 10 years. However, I was quite excited to finally be back to Liyue harbor faintly hearing the sounds of a busy city that I called home.

My travels were going well. I hadn't bumped into lots of trouble except for some hilichurl camps that were not very hard to beat. As I walked a path that led me to Liyue out of the corner of my eye, I spotted five ruin guards and a girl with frosty blue hair. My eyes couldn't help but be drawn to her loose silky fabric that moved freely in the breeze. She had horns on her head that stuck out to anyone who looked in her direction and a big bell that hung around her pale skin that seemed to ring melodically. Standing there with a hint of redness on my cheeks I watched her slightly brush her hair off her face with her fingers and pull a blow from her back. the tip of the arrow started to grow a gray-white color as small bits of snow would appear around it, her vision was cryo for sure. Her hands let go of the arrow sending a white streak at the ruin guards that shattered once it hit its gold eye then the shards hit all five. I had been peeking behind an apple tree staring at her so long I didn't even notice that she had already taken them all down by then.

Watching her head slightly turned towards me probably wondering if there were any more ruin guards. I turned back and hid behind the tree so that they didn't see me. I sat down on the floor with my knees on my chin trying my best to hide from this girl. As I slightly moved my head a bit to see if she had seen me I noticed her look away as if she hadn't spotted me. "Damn I feel like such a stalker," I said whispering. when I looked back she wasn't there anymore. Oh well, as I stood up I heard a voice saying, "what do you mean stalker?''Jumping back a bit from the surprise that someone had heard me I looked to my side and my eyes widened. There stood the girl I was staring at. Her eyes frowned a bit as she quickly noticed how startled I was. " I'm sorry did I frighten you? I really didn't mean any har-" shyly opening my mouth to see if any word would come out I said, " no no it's ok!! I just didn't see you there." Giving her a warm smile that seemed to make her violet eyes sparkle a bit.

"How rude of me, I'm the half Adeptus Ganyu." Her voice was warm and made me feel fuzzy. "It's y/n." I said trying my best to seem like I was calm and not asking myself if she knew you were watching her the whole time. "So what brings you to Liyue harbor? From the way you're dressed, I guess you're from Snezhnaya." It was quite obvious since you looked like you were dressed for winter. "You could tell huh." She giggled at your sarcastic comment. "I spent most of my childhood here but my parents are originally from Snezhnaya and we went back there when I was a teen" I explained how I loved Snezhnaya but it just didn't feel like home so I decided to move back. "I see." You both ended up just walking in silence but it wasn't awkward it was quite comfortable.

While we both walked I kept staring at her I couldn't help but stare. She had a sweet flower tucked behind her ear that explained her sweet smell. Her horn had red streaks and her hair was a bit messy. Her eyes slowly met with mine making her look the other way. "Hay Ganyu," I said, trying to start a conversation. She hummed showing that she was listening. "What do you do? Uh.. for work I mean." I saw her eyes sparkle, "I'm an assistant for lady Ningguang!" She said with a grin from one cheek to the other. "Oh, that seems stressful!" I sighed. "oh no not really I love my job honestly it's like a hobby to me." After that she rambled about her job and how she has named every dog in Liyue. It was honestly adorable. Ganyu was so nice and It was so comforting talking to her. "I'm sorry I didn't notice I was rambling. '' Her eyebrows arched slightly. "I honestly loved listening." Her cheeks flustered a bit, making me smile.

We could finally see the city. It was beautiful, the lights shined brightly and I truly finally felt at home. "And we have arrived! welcome back to Liyue y/n!" I took her hand and jumped like a middle school girl with her best friend. "I'm so so happy to be back!" I said and giggled. I noticed Ganyu's frown, "It was a pleasure meeting you but you know how it is my Adeptus duties call for me!" Watching Ganyu walk away I knew that I wanted to know her better to talk to her. "Ganyu!!" I said screaming from the top of my lungs. Her head turned, "um yes?" She stared with a confused look. "can you maybe show me around later or uh.... help me unpack? Uh... I want to talk to you more." WAIT WHAT DID I JUST SAY. "I mean, it would be nice to talk more!" She giggled and my nervous face. "Of course! anytime." Watching her walkway with a smile on my face. OH WAIT. I forgot to ask for her number! I'm such an idiot.
