Nya watched as her brother went to save Ninjago yet again with his team. She was left out of the fight once again. She hated not being able to help them. She didn't want to be the damsel in distress who is defenseless and always needs the boys to save her when she was in trouble. She was tough too! She could help them!
She looked at herself in a mirror. She didn't like seing herself as the girl who always was left out of the fight. 'When will my reflection show who I am inside?' she thought.
Nya was done being left out which is why she got to work on creating a way that she could fight with them. She started creating a mech for herself that would allow her to help out and she would take on the identity of Samurai X. She didn't want to tell the boys because she didn't want any of them being worried about her or telling her that she couldn't fight along side them when she was more than capable of doing so. It would be her little secret.
She enjoyed herself a lot as Samurai X. She enjoyed being able to save the day just as well as the boys. Ok, maybe better. She liked how she kept showing them up and how desparate they were to find out the identity of the mysterious Samurai X. That was a major perk. She considered revealing her identity and tell them that she was the one saving people better than they were, but she would not have the fun anymore of watching them pull crazy stunts to try and figure out the identity of Samurai X.
When Kai found out, she thought that he would try to stop her. She was surprised when he ended up letting her continue on as Samurai X and that he would keep her secret. Eventually, the others found out too, but they all ended up embracing her as a part of the team. Finally, she could be who she was really meant to be. A warrior.
