Birds sing every time the sun starts beaming through glass windows, glorifying for another day has come.Kai rubbed his eyes and perch on the side of his bed, worn out from last's night car meet. The bed is trying to pull him back yet the maid keeps repeating his name, preventing him to drop his body.
"Sir you're going to be late for school. The food is already served downstairs and your clothes are ready too" the maid calls out from the other side of the door.
"Where's Mom and dad?" Kai yawns with heavy eyelids.
"They have already left sir"
"Do you happen to know where they went?" Kai asked.
"Your dad says they're both going on a business trip in berlin" the maid answered.
Of course, they're in berlin. It's my first day as senior nobody gives a shit about that.
"I'll be downstairs"
"Okay sir, I'll be waiting." said the maid.
The maid's shoes fade away behind the door, Kai took a deep breath and stands on both feet. He grabs a towel hanging beside his personal bathroom and steps inside to take a warm relaxing morning bath.
"The 2 months of working out during the summer vacation really paid off, No longer skinny I guess?" flexing his body at the mirror inside the bathroom.
He set foot to his walk-in closet after taking a shower he put on a purple shirt and a leather jacket, While looking for pants to match his top he catch upon an old wooden bracelet with a fox print carved on it. He picks it up and painful memories from her flash to his mind.
He flings away the bracelet to the open window, No longer cares where it lands.
He notices a black pants lying on the floor - Kai sniffs them. It still smells fresh. Beside it where his shoe rack is located filled with expensive shoes, and the shoes he wears the most is the one he picked up - Jordan one mid-cut Chicago.
He studies his outfit at the mirror one last time."Maybe tomorrow I'll visit my Barber, but today your hair is looking fly Kai" he babbled and smiled.
He snatches his keys and bag from the table - encircling by paper balls and unfolded clothes.
Kai rushes to the hallway then paused when he gets a glimpse of the huge family photo - the Wagner family picture hanging at the end of the hallway from his room. Trying to recall if there is a single time in his life where his family even bonded together as a family.
His mother is a Japanese exchange student when his dad ran into her at a business school in Europe. His dad is a German, he finished a business course but decided to start a company in the Philippines.
Both of them always have a full plate and all Kai can remember that he spent his childhood playing with their maids.
This modern look mansion doesn't even feel like a home. It's just a very expensive house full of strangers.
He sprints towards the garage when the House Cook calls his attention. "Sir Kai. Your Breakfast is ready to go and your Lunch is packed too."
"Oh no it's okay I'll just eat outside" Kai paused and jog before he continues to dash his way to the garage.
Now he swings a large glass door connecting the house to the garage filled with glossy and expensive tools. You can distinguish your own reflection from the wooden floor - waxed; the walls are thick and painted in white to keep the house's minimalist design.
