Finchel: I'll Stand by you

While Rachel and Finn were away on their honeymoon Taylor stayed with Puck and Quinn for two weeks. It was no trouble at all but most of the time Taylor missed Finn and Rachel too much and it was predictable and accepted as they were her parents after all and she was only two.  Puck and Quinn also noticed how Taylor calms down from her tantarums is if she watches Funny girl and she had to watch Funny girl as it reminded her of home and Rachel. It all started on the first Monday night Finn and Rachel were away.

*Monday*
Taylor started to cry in Pucks arms and hugs him tightly wailing. Puck Pace's and bounces Taylor up and down slightly trying to calm her down "Hey hey hey ssssssh its alright,its alright you'll see Mommy and Daddy soon I promise,"he said gently "Uncle Puck has got you." Taylor continued to cry "MAMA,DADDY!"She wailed. Puck walks into the living room and looks through his DVD collection "What do you want to watch mini Hudson?"he asked kissing the top of her forehead. Taylor sniffles "Funny girl," Puck looks at Taylor "Will you stop crying if I put on Funny girl?"he asked Taylor nodded "Yes Pees,"she mumbled starting to suck her thumb. Puck picks up the DVD and inserts the disc starting to play the film.

*Present*
Ever since that moment Taylor was alot happier giggling and singing along to all the songs which surprised both Puck and Quinn as Taylor was only 2 years old and she knew almost every word but again Rachel is her mother. Throughout the days Puck and Quinn both notice that each day had something Funny Girl involved whether it was playing the soundtrack in the car when dropping Taylor off at Play group or going to get some groceries,Taylor drawing pictures of Fanny Brice in all different outfits or watching the Movie about so many times each day that you could possibly watch it,they had Beth over to stay with them for a few days during the two weeks and Taylor would have a tantrum if Puck goes to turn it off or she wouldn't play with Beths dolls until Funny Girl had finished on the screen. The only one thing that was a disadvantage to Taylors Funny Girl phase was My Man,everytime that scene came on Poor Taylor would cry her heart and would walk over to the screen placing her hand on the screen singing along as she cried for Rachel. Puck just knew poor Taylor was homesick. So it became a routine that after Taylor watches Funny girl before Bedtime Puck would phone up Rachel and Finn to say goodnight and all was working well.

"How was she?"Rachel asked the day Rachel and Finn went to pick her up. "I want you to watch something,"Puck tells them both "Don't do anything okay?just watch." Puck led Finn and Rachel to the door of the front room and they watch Taylor watching Funny Girl on the television with Quinn on the sofa and the My Man scene came on. "Its time for My Man,"Taylor tells Quinn,Quinn gives Taylor her Galalio and she cuddles to it close "Want me to put you down?"Quinn asked. Taylor noded and Quinn does that and Taylor waddles to the Television screen putting her hand on the glass having tears roll down her cheeks,"Mama..."Taylor sniffles. Rachels heart starred to break "My poor baby!"she whispers,Puck places his hand infront of the couple "Carry on watching,"Puck tells them.
Ever so slowly Taylor started to mumble the words closing her eyes as she snuggles with her Galalio.

Finn and Rachel watch with shock as Taylor went over the words as she was starting to calm down once the film finished Puck waddles back to Quinn "Can we phone Mama and Daddy now?"Taylor asked. The living door opened and Taylor gasped seeing Rachel and Finn "MAMA DADDY!"She beams,Rachel ran over to Taylor picking her up hugging her close "My Baby I missed you so much!"Rachel tells Taylor kissing her all over. Taylor giggles "I missed you too Mama but Uncle Puck and Auntie Quinn looked after me we watched Funny Girl EVERY NIGHT!" She said proudly.
Rachel gasps "Did you?"she asked smiling widely,Taylor nods "He also took me to play group and we had Grilled Cheese for dinner some nights but not as good as Daddy's but still yummy!" Finn laughs and takes Taylor off of Rachel cuddling into Taylor. "Thank you so much for looking after her Noah,"Rachel said thanking him. "It was no problem I love her to pieces dont I?"Puck asked.
Taylor giggles nodding "Yes and I Wuv you too Uncle Puck and Auntie Quinn!"
Finn kisses the top of Taylors head "Can we watch Funny girl when we get home?"She asked innecontly. Rachel burst into laughter "Tomorrow Baby girl Id love to watch it with you and we can sing along."
Taylor cheers "YAAAY I KNOW EVERY SINGLE WORD!"
