"Morning." Harry mumbled , taking a seat across from me at the kitchen table.
"Morning." I responded. "Want some coffee?"
He nodded and I poured a bit in a mug for him. He muttered a thanks and we fell into an uncomfortable silence.
"So..." I smirked. "Mean girls huh?"
"Shut up." Harry laughed and shook his head. "It was the only thing on."
"Whatever you say." I downed the rest of my coffee and went into my room to get dressed. Remembering it was a Saturday and I had nowhere to be, I decided to take a nice bath.
After my bath I walked into the kitchen and saw Harry still sitting at the table.
"Hey." I said.
"Hey." He looked up and I noticed that his face was red.
"You alright?" I asked him.
"Yeah." He sniffed.
"You're sure?"
"Yep."
"Wanna watch a movie?" I asked, trying to change the subject.
"Sure." He nodded and stood up.
"How about mean girls?" I smirked.
He laughed and shook his head, before joining me on the couch.
Eventually we ended up just turning on old reruns of F.R.I.E.N.D.S. Harry said he had never seen it and I forced him to watch it. Many episodes later I heard a noise coming from next to me.
"Sorry, I think I'm a bit hungry." Harry said.
"Wanna go out for lunch?" I asked.
"Sure." He shrugged.
A few minutes later we ended up in one of my favorite places. It was a small Italian bakery in the middle of the city. We sat down and looked at the menus.
"Whats good here?" Harry asked me.
"Everything." I laughed. Harry cracked a smile in return.
By the end of our lunch I had almost completely forgotten what angry Harry looked like. He had been all laughs and smiles recently. I made Harry drive home because I was 99% sure I would pass out from a food coma.
I woke to a pair of hands lifting me up. One on my back and one under my knees. My natural instinct would normally be to open my eyes and stand up. But for some reason I found myself closing my eyes again, and letting my body go limp in Harry's arms. He carried me all the way up to my apartment and gently laid me down in my bed before doing something that really surprised me. He picked up a book from my shelf, and laid down in bed next to me. The book perched up on his chest, his eyes intently staring at the pages. I studied his face while falling asleep.

I woke up and saw Harry asleep next to me. His body laying above the covers and the book he had been reading laying across his chest. I quietly climbed out of bed and into the kitchen. The clock told me it was nearly seven. Which meant we had been asleep for almost five hours. I felt my stomach make a noise and shuffled over to the fridge to see what was inside. Nothing but some gatorade and a bag of apples. I decided to order for dinner. While I scrolled through the delivery menu of a Chinese restaurant, Harry silently walked out of my bedroom and sat across from me at the table.
"Good morning sleepyhead." I teased.
"Mm." He groaned and his head hit the table.
"I'm ordering Chinese. Sound good?"
He nodded, his head still on the table. I dialed the restaurant and ordered our food, then got up to make myself a cup of tea.
"Tea?" I offered.
"Yes, please." Harry yawned and lifted his head from the table. I made our tea and set his cup in front of him.
"Thanks."
"Sure." I sipped the hot tea. "So...whats your plan? I mean I'm happy to have you here for as long as you need but I would assume you'd rather be with your mom and sister."
"I don't really have a plan yet." Harry shrugged.
"Well then...what's the dream? Like when you think of your ideal life, what do you picture?" I prodded.
"I guess...a good school for Gem is pretty important. And a nice house for mum. Maybe a nice boyfriend." Harry shrugged.
"Well what about you?" I asked.
"What do you mean what about me?"
"What about your life. That's your mom and Gemma's lives, not yours."
"I just want them to happy, and safe. Once they are I guess I'd like to go back to school. Finish getting my degree."
"What were you studying?"
"I was studying to become a teacher, for younger kids. Like primary school age."
"You mean elementary school?" I teased him on his British vocabulary.
"Whatever you call it." He laughed.
"And after that?" I prodded a little more.
"I guess...eventually I'd like to get married." He shrugged. "Maybe a kid or two."
"Cool." I said.
"What about you?" He asked after a minute of silence. "Aren't you in school right now? What are you studying?"
"Mostly literature. Grammar and writing and such. I'd like to become an editor for books, or maybe magazines I guess."
"That's cool." He nodded. "That why you have so many books?"
"Yeah." I laughed. It was insane the amount of books I had. There were two full bookshelves in my bedroom alone. And I had read almost all of them.
"Have you always liked reading so much?" Harry asked.
"Not really." I shrugged. "I mean I've always enjoyed it, just when I was younger I didn't have much time for it."
"What were you so busy doing?"
I froze, contemplating how to answer this question. "Um...gymnastics. I was on the gymnastics team, I had to train a lot."
"That's cool." Harry nodded. It wasn't a lie. I really was on the gymnastics team in high school. But I got kicked off my sophomore year.
A few minutes later we found ourselves back on the couch watching F.R.I.E.N.D.S. I was going through and picking the most important ones so that we didn't have to watch all the episodes.
"It's freezing in here." I sighed and got up to get the duvet from my bed. "Aren't you cold?"
"Meh." Harry shrugged.
I wrapped the duvet over both of us anyway. After a little while I found myself dozing off. My head hit Harry's shoulder and I quickly jerked it back up.
"Sorry." I muttered.
"S'alright." Harry smiled. "If you're tired, I don't mind if you rest on my shoulder."
Slowly I lowered my head onto his shoulder. I felt him tense up at first, but loosen pretty quickly. But I wasn't tired anymore. I was so wide awake, and so aware of how close our bodies were. Our arms were pressed up against each other, my cheek on his shoulder.
"Harry." I said, looking up to meet his eyes.
"Yeah?" He responded.
I noticed that his eyes were nearly the same color as mine. My heart was pounding almost out of my chest.
"We have the same color eyes." I muttered.
He looked at me for a moment. "We do, don't we." Harry chuckled. "Yours are much prettier though."
I felt my face go red. I was now realizing that we hadn't broken eye contact since I first said his name. I let my eyes go to his lips, and I noticed how pink they were. Harry moved slightly closer to me, placing a hand on the side of my neck. Instinctively I moved closer to him too. Our lips were only an inch apart, when the doorbell rang. Harry jumped back and cleared his throat.
"Must be the food." He stood up. "I'll get it."
