Sarah stepped onto the land that she knew so well. Home.

Well, not quite. She recognized this land so, she felt close to home. Someone saw her step out of the water and rushed over to  her. "Oh my goodness!" They said. "Are you ok?" She nods, even though she's truly not ok.

"Let's get you inside." The lady says. Sarah follows her inside. The lady starts a fire, seeing how Sarah is shivering. She then leaves her in the living room while she makes a hot chocolate for her.

Sarah can't help but wonder how worried her mother is. Does she wait for her to come back? How long had it been since she left? Did her mother lose hope? She had so many questions.

The lady came back and gave her the hot chocolate. "What's your name?" Sarah asks her.

"Oh yes, my name is Evelyn." She responds. "What's your name?"

"Sarah." She responds.

"Oh my goodness." The Evelyn mutters, before walking briskly towards another room. Sarah was confused. Did she do something wrong??

The lady came back, staring at her phone. "Are you perhaps, Sarah *OOOO LOOK AT THAT LAST NAME PRETTY COOL AM I RIGHT*?" Evelyn questions. Sarah nods. She gasps. "You've been missing for 3 weeks!"

'Three weeks? It had been that long?'

"Are you sure it was 3?" Sarah asks.

"Yes, we've been getting Amber Alerts every day since you went missing. Its the longest time I've seen a missing case go for."

"Can you take me home?" Sarah asks.

"Of course. Where do you live?"

"*OOOOOOOOOO COOL ADRESS YAYYAYAYAYAYAYYA*"

"Oh, that's not too far from here. I'll drive you."

"That would be great. Thank you."

*TIME SKIP TO ALMOST AT SARAH'S HOUSE*

Sarah took the note out from her pocket. The one she found at the temple. She had read it over and over again. How could she had been so stupid! Who would be so stupid to believe Local Man Joe! And all for math.

Before she knew it, she was at her house. She looked at it. So nice, so warm, so familiar.

Evelyn looked at her. "Well this is where we part. Have a good one Sarah!" She said.

"Bye Evelyn! Thank you for everything!"

Sarah walked up to her house. The house she had known for so long. The one she left for math! Without telling anyone! She can't imagine how worried her mother was. She was about to knock on the door when it swung open. "Sarah!" Her mother said, teary faced, pulling her into a hug (idc if this isn't how your mom would act Sarah). "Where did you go? Are you ok? What happened? Did you get kidnapped?"

I decide to lie. I mean, this will be more believable than, "ya that guy Local Man Joe told me to swim to Antarctica because I need to make it so not every equation I see is division and I listened because I care more about my grades than my life."

Sooo, what she did say was. "I got kidnapped by this group of guys. I didn't see what they looked like or figure anything out about them. I just know that they took me for 2 weeks and I spent the last week trying to find my way home when Evelyn found me and brought me home. And here we are." Hoping to make it sound believable.

"Ok, you're probably pretty tired then, you can go for a nap if you would like."

"Can I just write my friends first? They're probably worried."

"Sure."

She heads to the computer to write her friends. What she didn't expect, was to see about 21 messages all from Jordyn. All checking up on her, even tho she knew she couldn't see them. Sarah felt a twinge of guilt. She hadn't thought about how this would affect her friends. She sent a meet link to the chat they were all in and hoped they would join.

They did. "Hi!" Sarah said.

"Oh! Hi Sarah!" Sarena said.

"WHERE DID YOU GO?? Sorryyy mom" Jordyn asked very loudly.

I laugh, before telling them the same story I told my mom.

Then, after I finished the story, I went to bed.

(A/N) WOOOOO CHAPTER!!!!! Using real names of my friends pog. Anyways, hope you have a good day!
