You were... in a forest? Though, you couldn't exactly remember how you got there. A branch snapped nearby and you jumped, trying to locate the source of the sound. That was when you met eyes with those same, charming, golden orbs. They were just as you remembered. Except now you could view who they belonged to you in full light. It wasn't exactly day or night, the sky was red and you couldn't see the moon or sun. But there was light nevertheless.

You took a step forward, reaching out a hand. You had to make sure he was real. You had to touch him. You couldn't explain it but something about him drew you to him. He looked into your eyes, as if he could tell what you were thinking. Smirking, he took your hand in his and kissed it, gazing up at you.

"It's you," the words left your mouth a little more than a whisper.

The object of your infatuation leaned forward, admiring you, "of course it is my darling." Before you could utter another word his lips, once again, met yours. You were sure that this was the same man that occupied your every thought. Yet, this time when he kissed you, it was different. He devoured your lips like a wolf devouring its prey. Lustful and raveging.

When he finally allowed you to pull back for much-needed air you managed a breathless, "your name, I need to know."

He tilted your chin up so your eyes could once again meet his, "Preminger."

Preminger. Preminger. The name filled your every thought. It was the only name you could think of that would be fitting of a man so fine. Of course he had a name as gorgeous as his face.

"Darling," he spoke, "we don't have much time but I need to warn you. Are you listening?"

You nodded.

"Bad things are coming, inevitable things, written by the stars themselves. You can't escape your destiny but you can control the outcome. I'll do what I can to protect you but I can't stop the events that are about to unfold. You alone will bring a new dawn."

Your head was spinning. What was he talking about. You tried to ask him what he meant but the words caught in your throat. This was all too much.

"We will be together soon my dear, I promise."
