James's POV: It's been nine hours since my mom left, usually she'd be back by now to check up on me before returning to Avengers Tower. I took out my guitar that Fitz crafted with Adamantium and Vibranium so I wouldn't break it with my strength. I created a song for the Avengers, and it wasn't that bad. I heard the door open and thought it was my mom, but it was Fury instead with Fitz and Simmons carrying a case.
"James, something has happened. Your mother's been captured by the Cabal. The Avengers tried to rescue her but had to fall back to heal and come up with a new plan. That's where you come in." Fury said, "The Cabal has my mother, I'll do whatever it takes to save her." I said.
Fitz and Simmons walked over and placed the case they were carrying on the table. "What's this?" I asked, "Your mum had us create a suit that you designed when you where twelve. Laced with Vibranium and Adamantium for added protection and it can restore itself when you use your claws. Your mom had us add in her symbol into the chest that will act like a siphon to absorb excess energy and repurpose that energy as a powerful shockwave when you slam your hands together." Simmons said.
I opened the case, and it was similar to my mom's suit, but it was also similar to Wolverine's suit as well. "Time to suit up son." Fury said as I narrowed my eyes and changed into the suit.

"Feels amazing. I see you also added a voice modulator to alter my voice so that no one can know who I am. Impressive, even I didn't think of that." I said as I stretched and got ready to save my mom.
"Time to go, but first you'll need a new codename." Fury said. I remembered what HYDRA called me when they were experimenting on me, "They called me Devastation. Not something I want to be called, how about, Black Wolf." I said.
"Not bad. But there's already a Black Panther." Fury said as I smirked and we walked outside to a quinjet that was waiting, "First we need to get you to Avengers Tower. Here's the intel I managed to get on where the Cabal took Agent Romanoff. You are going to be an off the books agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. You wanted to be a hero. Well, here's your chance." Fury said, "Agent Black Wolf. Has a nice ring to it. But just call me Wolf for short." I said as we flew to Avengers Tower in New York.
