CHAPTER ONE
brian's pov
Today, Lou Pearlman, our manager, invited me and the guys to his house for a pool party. He also said to bring a guest with us, if we want. I didn't bring anyone since I figured Lou would have his house packed with people regardless. I get to Lou's house, parking my truck, the Bleeding Banana, in Lou's driveway. I get off the truck and walk into Lou's house, loud music thumping. A smile creeps on my face as I see tons of people already here, some outside in the pool, and some inside.
"Hey Brian! Glad you could make it." I hear Lou's voice call out to me. I turn, seeing the man himself walking up to me.
"Hey Lou. Thanks for inviting me." I say, giving the man a hug, "Where's Nick and the guys?" I ask.
"Nick is outside in the pool with all the guys. I'll tell them you're here." He says before walking outside to the pool to tell them.
I go to the bathroom and change into my swimming trunks before putting my clothes into a bag with my name on it. I walk out of the bathroom, holding my bag as I make my way outside to the pool.
"Brian!" I hear Nick's voice yell my name before I'm tackled into a hug by the energetic fourteen-year-old, "You made it!" He says, letting go of the hug, smiling widely at me.
"Yeah, of course I did. Wouldn't dare miss this." I say, hugging him back as AJ and Kevin walk over to me with wide smiles.
"What's up, B?" AJ says with a smile.
"Hey, AJ." I say before looking at Kevin, "Hey cous'." I say to hi with a smile.
Then, I see Howie and this extremely beautiful girl walk up to us, wearing a hot swimsuit. As she gets closer, I feel my stomach tie itself into knots as butterflies swarm in it. I feel the palms of my hands get sweaty, and my mouth feels really dry.
"Hey, Brian. I'd like you to meet my best friend, Christina Hernandez." Howie says with a smile before turning to Christina, "Christina, this is Brian Littrell, my other bandmate." He smiles.
"Nice to meet you, Brian. I heard a lot about you." She says with a smile as she stretches her hand out for a handshake.
"Nice to meet you too, Christina." I say, shaking her hand and letting it go, "How long have you known Howie?" I ask.
"Oh, Howie and I go way back. We've been friends since birth. We live in the same neighborhood." She says with a smile.
"Oh, that's really cool. You've heard things about me, huh? All good things, I hope." I say with a smile.
