Chapter 10

My voice was shaking and husky with whatever word I attempted to say .

"But h-he was dead" I fumbled out . The boys all looked at me in shock more then likely hearing what she said due to my loud phone .

She hung up the phone . I eagerly called back multiple times to no answer . I closed my eyes and rested my teared cheeks in my palms

"This isn't possible" I said my mind racing . I ran up the stairs not being able to face any of the guys right now. I swung my door open , but instead of flopping to my bed , I stood there in utter shock .

"I like what you've done with this room , although I don't really approve of the picture of me in the ballerina costume from when I was six" he said trying to hold back his tears

"Chris!" I yelled running to him and jumping on him "it's really you! But you were dead your heart stopped beating!" My words muffled by his chest

"I'm here now Hazy" he said his voice cracking

"Promise me you'll never leave me" I said holding him tighter

"I'm not going anywhere" he assured me

Right now is the worst time for a inside joke but I'm gonna do it anyways

"Together forever?" I said looking up at his glossy eyes

"Forever together" he said .

We fist pumped .

After about three hours of tears and me filling him in on everything little thing that's happened there was a soft knock at my door .

"Hazel , can I come in" Dakota said from the other side of the door

"Which one is this" Chris whispered to me "The asshole 'Aaron' who's teeth are going to get knocked in or one of the ones that I still don't like because you should not be talking to guys"

I chuckled "it's Dakota , he's nice I swear"

"Come in" I finally replied softly

He stepped in quietly sitting on the floor next to me , me across from Chris

"Are you okay?" Dakota asked me turning his body so he was facing me

"I've never been better actually" I said sending Chris a quick soft smile

"That's good" Dakota said with a lot of care in his voice "Well me and the guys were wondering if you guys would come to the football game with us tonight"

"Who's going?" I asked not wanting to see Abi nor Aaron .

"Peyton , Gabe , Reese , Rudy , Drake , Kendal , and Me of course"

"Kendal? Where is he I miss my bitch!" Chris said with to much excitement standing up

"I'm right here , daddy" Kendal said appearing at the doorway

Daddy? I hope this is some inside joke .

"Kenny!" Chris yelled

"Crissy!" Kendal yelled in return as they went into a hug . This was the type of hug you would see in a movie where the girl gets kidnapped and the guy comes to the rescue

"Queers" I scoffed trying to contain my laughter

Dakota said nothing , he was to busy rolling on the floor from to much laughter .

My laughter continued until I saw the face of the demons them self appear at the doorway .

"Kendal , mind introducing us to your friend?" Layla said in a sick , sweet way .

"His friend is my brother . And I'm only going to tell you to stay away from him once . Consider this your warning" I spat , instantly furious with her .

"Woah , Haz . Why don't you introduce me to your friend" Chris said , standing up straight smirk at her .

"That nasty bitch is anything but my 'friend'" I said as if the words left a bad taste in my mouth "As a matter of fact , were not in school so how about , you say something to piss me off"

"Well , I could start by telling you how your best friend is the biggest nerd in the school , maybe even the state . And she would throw you under the bus in no time to save her ass"

I was dealing with this bitch for to long , and its only been a few months . Sad right? She has that effect on people .

I stood up , but before my fist could contact her fake excuse of a completion , Chris spoke .

"Wait" He began rubbing his chin with sophistication "Layla , Abi , or Bailey?"

"This is queen bitch , Layla"

"Oh" he sighed in disappointment "You should leave"

"Agreed , what are you doing here anyways?" I asked irritated

"Abi wanted to come see her boyfriend , and what type of friend would I be if I didn't cock block?" She said impatiently

"A good one" Dakota and Chris said in sync .

I chuckled

"Whatever" She said appearing bored "Well I'll be at the game today , with Aaron , Bailey , and Abi . See you guys there" She said all of the sudden becoming preppy . With one last wink to Chris , she left .

"Sick bitch" I mumbled to myself taking out my phone and shooting Aaron a text along the lines of 'I dis-own you and my brother wants you dead' "Anyways , I'd love to attend the game"

"Dito" Chris said running his hand through his hair

"Splendid" Dakota said pretending to obtain some type of brilliance

I scoffed "So when does it start?"

"Six forty" Kendal pipped in cheerfully

"Is no a optio-" I began but was cut off by Chris and Dakota

"No!" They yelled in sync , again .

I sighed "Well if I'm going Layla and her monkeys aren't"

"You act like you have a option" Dakota said ruffling my hair

I rolled my eyes and sighed over dramaticly "What time is it"

"Six twenty" Kendal said including himself in the convorsation - again .

"Well get out so I can get ready" I demanded pointing out of the door

"I'm not leaving , but I will go in your closedt while you add your attire" Chris said laying on my bed

"Oh and i'll stay to because your brother is cool as fuck , why aren't you Hazel" Dakota said raising a brow and smirking at me

"Don't perv on my sister" Chris said trying to be serious

I rolled my eyes in reply , but knew I would get no where with these two . This is going to be a long three years .
