2021 Reading List

2021 Recap!

Whew! That is a lot of books! 627 to be exact. So, I am sure you may be wondering, what are my ultimate favorites? Well, there are favorites and then there are the books that I re-read and didn't even count in my count. 

Here are re-reads. The books that I actually bought in paperback after reading them on kindle or listening to them on audible. These are the ride or die favs of 2021:

Trickery, Persuasion, Seduction, Strength, Pain (Kindle Unlimited & Audible) by Jaymin Eve and Jane Washington. Gods book series. RH series. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. One of my favorites to read and listen to.

Ravenhood Series by Kate Stewart I have this series on Paperback and Audiobook because it is that good. Please listen to the books. The narrators are duet style (male reads male, female reads female) on ALL parts and not done by chapters. Accents, drama, and the voices are to die for. Kate hit this series out of the park. Truly a life changing series for me. "My greatest hope is to be in all-consuming love. My biggest fear is to be in all-consuming love."

 Hanaford Prep Series by J. Bree. EXCELLENT! Definitely would be on my Favorites list! Seriously in love with this series and I am so glad it was recommended so much. Triggers include gangs, violence, blood, breath play, assault, rape, drugs... If you liked Den of Vipers, read this series. Reverse Harem, Bully to Lovers. 

Ghostbird Academy Series by C.L. Stone.  Absolutely fantastic and book 13 came out in November I believe so I had to re-read the books 1-12, right? Good, more YA than adult. Very slow build, but so good and the characters are amazingly written. You fall in love with them. 

House Isador Series by Joley Sue Burkhart. Wow! Slow addition of RH men (and women). Lots of spice. Vampires, change, legacy, prophecy. So good.

Born of Embers, Hidden in Smoke, Spark of Intent, Forged in Flames (Kindle Unlimited & Physical Book) by Harper Wylde and Quinn Arthurs. EXCELLENT! Love the mythical shifter influences and I enjoy that it is multiple shifter types. Excellent story and plot with twists and turns. I am sure the remaining 3 books are just as excellent.

HAVOC, CHAOS, MAYHEM (Kindle Unlimited) by C.M. Stunich. So good! Dark and twisty. Reverse Harem. Think Den of Vipers only not as gory, gruesome, or strange with the kink. Set in a high school setting.I am sure the remaining 2 books are just as excellent.

Frat Girl by Kiley Roache (Physical Book) - Witty and Wild! LOVED this book. Girl gets a scholarship after proposing a gender studies project- get into a Frat. Excellent storyline and characters.

Den of Vipers (Kindle Unlimited & Physical Book) by K.A. Knight- TRIGGER WARNING for this book. HARDCORE Reverse Harem. MAFIA, BLOOD PLAY, BREATH PLAY, DOMINANCE, VIOLENCE... VERY VERY VERY Dark. Like, I had to choose something upbeat and light after this book. It is almost 700 pages of questioning your sanity in sexual preferences. BUT, I fell in love with the characters and their growth through the book. The shmexy scenes were great (remember triggers though) and I am glad I read it.

The Sainthood Complete Series (Kindle Unlimited) by Siobhan Davis. SOOOOO GOOOOD! This series has the right amount of everything. Suspense, plot twists, sexy scenes, romance, slow burn, etc. High school setting. Gang related. Triggers include violence, sexual assault, drugs, suicide. Dark romance at it's finest.
