Below are the books that I have read in February. As I read more (both Wattpad and physical copies) I will update this listing. There will be a new update/chapter each month with new ones I have read. Best part? This helps me keep track of everything I have read! Here's to a great 2021!
Wattpad Books: 0
Audio Books: 3
1. The Panty Melter by Lili Valente. Continue the story of the Hunter brothers. Sexy, saucy, and fun. Over 40 romance that melts your heart with some old fashioned spice. Plus the narration is so good. Love Andi Arndt and Sebastian York.
2. The Bang Over by Lili Valente. Best friends + Las Vegas trip = soul mates? Witty and saucy. A perfect balance. One of my favorite audible writers.
3. The V Card by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. Sex Education in a hands-on way. Saucy and Romantic. Loved listening to this. Super cute and has a wonderful happy ending.
E-Books: 52
1 - 4. The Sainthood Complete Series by Siobhan Davis (Started January 29th, Finished February 2nd). SOOOOO GOOOOD! This series has the right amount of everything. Suspense, plot twists, sexy scenes, romance, slow burn, etc. High school setting. Gang related. Triggers include violence, sexual assault, drugs, suicide. Dark romance at it's finest. Definitely would be on my Favorites list!
5. Pretty Little Savage by Lucy Smoke. Such a good read. Enemies to Lovers Romance. Early College story with a strong female lead. Dark themes including r*pe, drugs, and a money = power mentality. Reverse Harem
6 - 8. The Help, The Lie, The Risk by Callie Rose. Poor vs. Rich theme. Reverse Harem. Female Lead is middle ground (not strong and sassy, not sniveling and weak). Plot twists and a Murder lead you on a chase.
9 - 10. In Ruins, In Silence by K.G. Reuss. Dark Enemies to Lovers Reverse Harem romance. Books 3 and 4 are not out until March and April (which I am pissed that I didn't look at prior to reading because I couldn't put these down)! Definitely would be on my Favorites list! So good!
11. Voyeur by Fiona Cole. Voyeurism, Age gap, Professor/Student relationship. Broken Male Lead, Medium Female lead that becomes strong. Saucy and spicy without being over the top. Definitely has some 'I'm embarrassed for the character' moments.
12 - 15. Indebted, Wanted, Protected, Embraced by Vampires, by Erin Bedford. So Good. Lots of saucy moments. Love the poor vs. rich angle. Reverse Harem. Vampires and Humans with a clumsy but strong female lead. The character backstories are pretty good but slow to form.
16 - 18. The Academy Scarab Beetle Series: Thief, Liar, Accessory by C.L. Stone. Honestly it's great to see the pull from her other series. I am not as connected to Kayli as I am with Sang. But it does make me wonder if the villain from one is the same in the other??? hmmm. Continuing to read the series to find out. Reverse Harem- extremely SLOW BURN.
19. Credence by Penelope Douglas. Taboo. Multiple lovers. So spicy and multiple points of embarrassment for the main character, but so good!
20. Obsessed by Jenika Snow. SHORT story with fairly good spice. If you want an hour-long read, go for this one.
21 - 23. The Secret Girl, The Ruthless Boys, The Forever Crew by C.M. Stunich. Seriously one of my favorite bully to lovers writers. Reverse Harem. Twists and Turns. Murder and Mayhem. Definitely would be on my Favorites list! Would love to read anything by Stunich.
24 -27. Hanaford Prep Series by J. Bree. EXCELLENT! Definitely would be on my Favorites list! Seriously in love with this series and I am so glad it was recommended so much. Triggers include gangs, violence, blood, breath play, assault, rape, drugs... If you liked Den of Vipers, read this series. Reverse Harem, Bully to Lovers.
28. Sweet Obsession by Callie Rose. Couldn't get into this book for some reason. It is a series, but I didn't feel connected enough to continue.
29. Clearwater University: Who Breaks First by Eva Ashwood. Did not like the reasoning behind the bully. The character was whiny and over the top. Super frustrated so I didn't finish the other books in the series.
30 - 33. Hate, Liar, Fake, Kate by Tate James. Series ends on a damn cliffhanger- annoying, but at least the main situations were fixed by the end. Definitely would be on my Favorites list! This is an Excellent reverse harem series. Loved the characters and the development.
34 - 36. Devious Little Liars, Dangerous Little Secrets, Twisted Little Truths by Ella Thorpe. Bully trope. Loved the characters and enjoyed the whole series. Reverse Harem. Twists and turns. Murder and Mayhem.
37 -39. Lost Boys, Wild Girl, Mad Love by Eva Ashwood. Slateview High series, a reverse harem bully romance. It contains steamy scenes and dark subject matter.
40 -42. Vicious Kings, Ruthless Knights, Savage Queen by Eva Ashwood. This is a reverse harem new adult dark romance series that includes high steam, violence, and foul language.
43. Hollywood Roommates by Elizabeth Briggs. Nice, short, reverse harem. Light and airy. Romance with a bit of bullying but nothing dark- more like kindergarten "boys make fun of girls they like" type of trope.
44 -46. The Silver Swan, The Broken Puppet, Tacet Mortuis by Amo Jones. WOW! This series is so good. Literally couldn't put it down. Definitely would be on my Favorites list! Enjoyed all 3 books immensely. Dark, violent, creepy, but oh so good. Twists and turns. Mayhem. A must read.
47. Theirs by Mae Doyle. Standalone reverse harem. Age gap romance. Somewhat steamy.
48. Consequence by G. Bailey. Reverse harem. Death and destruction, creep factor. Good standalone book.
49 -52. Uppercut Princess, Arm Candy, Beautiful Soldier, Knockout Queen by E.M. Moore. Soooooooo good. I want Moore (haha). Fight trope, enemies to lovers, revenge, reverse harem. Just a good book series to cap out my month.
