"What the hell is this?!" Vellicya said as Yuki was clinging to her. You could notice that she seemed that hope all hope was lost and she was now in despair. It was obvious that she had lost any reasoning. I just looked at her. I didn't know what to say at all. I thought of many things to say but nothing actually came to mind at all. All this thinking was interrupted by Yuki. She approached the body and started searching them. Her face suggested that she was about to puke but she didn't.
"Guess we don't have a choice..." I said with a shiver that went down my spine. "I'll go look over here then you go look over there..." I pointed to the left of the room then pointed to the right. Yuki was searching the middle so it would be best if we searched in different places. A lot went through my mind like how sick these people are and things such as that. There was another question that was really bothering for a while but I didn't really know the answer to it. Why did I know that these bodies were from the people that have participated in the game? How did I know that this was an actual death game? There was a lot of unanswered questions but I knew all this somehow. I felt as if I've done this before. Like i've played the Nonary Game once before though no memory of it would come up.
It took us about an hour before Vellicya shouted at us. "I found something!" Her face seemed in horror and we went to her. She was holding a few key cards and a key. It didn't look like a key card that opened an Ambidex room and the key didn't really fit on the key hole that was on the door to leave the room. That much was obvious.
"Is that all you found?" I asked her and she nodded in response. I look down at the key cards. Green, red and blue. I wondered where we had to put them.
"Let's keep searching..." Yuki suggested and she went back to searching the bodies and so did we.
Only a few minutes passed and most of the bodies were already checked. I didn't know what else to do so I just decided to move the bodies away and to my surprise there were 9 holes in the ground and a key hole. I guess that it suggested that 9 key cards go in those holes and the key goes in that key hole. I put the key and something activated. A screen appeared above the wholes and showed the colors green, red and blue. Well, to be specific green, green, blue, red, blue, green, red, red, blue.
"We found something!" I heard Yuki say from behind me and I heard two sets of footsteps that came towards me. Though it didn't sound like actual footsteps. It sounded more like stepping on some kind of jello which was kind of disgusting. "What's this?" Yuki said as she leaned her head next to mine and so did Vellicya.
"Ah, so this is where these key cards go.." Vellicya showed me 6 different key cards. It was the six remaining. Both greens, reds and blues.
"I wonder what would happen if we put them in..." Yuki said tilting her head to the side as she did put the key cards in their respective places but nothing happened.
"Maybe we have to do something before it works.. Let's leave them there." I said as I went to look for anything that would help us.
This place really did made my stomach swirl like a tornado. The smell was horrible and the squishy sound of stepping on human body parts didn't make it any better. This was a horrible place indeed and we needed to get out of here as soon as we can. If it's not for my sake then for Yuki's sake. She's just a kid and I'm sure that this is hard for her.
"Found something!" Vellicya said and we all went to her. There was a line of bodies. "X-X-S-Q-R-T-P-H-N...." The 9 bodies said. They were decomposed and I could see Yuki trying not to vomit on the sight of such a horrific thing.
"Maybe we're supposed to put this somewhere?" I remembered the code in my mind.
"Yeah, let's keep looking.." Yuki said and went away.
