Chapter 1

"No, I'm using it you are so irritating," 

I said to my little brother. We have been having this argument for about 10 minutes nonstop and it's really starting to piss me off.

"Just give it to me my computer is about to die and I lost my charger," he said back, clearly thinking I was gonna care why he needed my charger.

 
"Dude no I'm doing my homework," I fired back.

"Skye just give your little brother your charger, he's 10 your 16 act like it." my mom said to me.

 What the hell.

 
"Wait no that's not fair I'm doing my homework he doesn't need it!" I yelled. 

"Skyler Amellia I will not repeat myself again, give him the charger and go to your room, now". She yelled.

 I huffed, grabbed the charger, and shoved it into his chest. Once I made it into my room I questioned whether I should slam the door to add an extra effect to my dramatic exit but I figured I would just get yelled at more so I just shut it quietly. I plopped on my bed and stared at the ceiling.

 
I honestly don't understand why she always does that, he didn't even need my charger that bad. She always picks favorites and it's annoying, why did she even bother having me if she'll just neglect me and always take his side in an argument just because he's 10. Yes, I know I'm being a little dramatic but it's just so annoying especially being in this house 24/7.
I grabbed my phone and ripped it off the charger. Tiktok always seems to calm me down so I opened the app and started scrolling. After about 15 minutes of just scrolling, I came across this weird video of this girl saying she just shifted to Hogwarts for 10 months and got railed by Draco. Pause- WHAT! If you didn't know already yes I am obsessed with harry potter, and if you could see my room you would see the Ravenclaw tapestry, Fred and George Weasley blanket, all the characters funko pops, the books, and etc. I was confused by what the hell "shifting" is, concerned by that girl's poor taste in men, and also excited cause what if...

What am I even saying- well thinking. That can't possibly be real. I went to search and typed in shifting. And a whole bunch of shit popped up about the subject. After mindlessly scrolling on that app and YouTube for hours I finally grasped the concept. 

"So it's called reality shifting..and I could place my subconscious into a different reality...and I could possibly date Fred Weasley." I had made up my mind that I was gonna try it tonight. I recalled a method explained in one of the thousands of videos I watched called the "Raven method" so I laid down on my back and began to count to 100.  My finger started twitching and once I got to the number 30 my whole right leg went numb. What type of witchcraft bullshit is this. At 65 I started seeing a white light and I started sinking into my bed. I started hearing banging at my door and I opened my eyes thinking it was mom coming to yell at me again but when I opened them I saw something very... different.
