One word to describe life in 2021 according to Skyler Amellia is...boring.
And her annoying little brother and mother aren't helping.
What happens when she finds out about shifting...and gets to meet her favorite characters and most importantly...
"You're being weird," said Theo, eyeing me suspiciously from across the table.
After the brown-haired boy ran out of my room I started remembering little details about who I am and everything around me. Apparently, in this reality I am not Skyler Amellia, I am Skyler Blue Nott. Now I know you're probably thinking "How did you not realize that you were talking to Theodore Nott if you're a literal Harry Potter enthusiast"..well that's because my subconscious apparently loves the fan-cast better so my twin brother looks exactly like Lorenzo Zurzolo. Now you should be able to see the problem I am having trying to act normal around him.
"Your face is weird," I said back to him.
"Extremely mature Blue," he said smirking with his mouth full of eggs, knowing I apparently hate when he calls me blue.
"Your one to talk, have you forgotten your training from all those years of table etiquette classes mum made you take Teddy?" I fired back innocently returning his smirk knowing he also hates it when I call him that.
"Shove off", he said with an eye roll. "We have to hurry up and leave so we don't miss the train, it's already 10:40."
"Shit okay, we're apparating, right?" I asked him instantly getting more excited by the minute.
"Yeah hold on, Dipkey? He called out and not more than two seconds later a small looking house-elf with big blue eyes was standing right in front of us. Even though I knew we had a house-elf, it was so weird to see one in person after watching Dobby and Kreacher in the movies.
"Hello Master Theodore, how may Dipkey help you." she squeaked and bowed low enough that her long nose touched the floor.
"Can you go fetch me and Skye's bags from upstairs, we are leaving for Hogwarts soon" Theo said softly to the small elf and she nodded her head rapidly and instantly popped away and back with both of our trunks for school.
"Does Master Theodore and Miss Skyler need Dipkey to apparate." she kindly asked looking up at me and Theo, and he nodded his head.
She then took both of our hands in her own and I soon felt like I was being sucked up, and not in a good way so I instantly closed my eyes and held my breath. The sucked-up feeling stopped and I could breathe again so I opened my eyes and the sight in front of me nearly made me burst into tears.
