The legend of Midnight Woods is a tale of a man named Maven Barrow. One day Maven was hanging out with his little sister Evangeline who was 3 years old. She was about 20 years younger than her older brother. Those two had a lot in common despite their age difference, they both had big blue eyes and jet black hair. Maven loved his sister more than life itself and promised he would do anything for his little sister. Evangeline started to waddle to Maven who had been sitting 4 feet away from his little sister. Inches before Evangeline's tiny legs can carry her to Maven in a hasty motion she turns left towards the Midnight Woods.

"Eva?", Maven exclaims in a questionable voice.

It seems as though Evangaline dismisses her brother's words. Unconvinced Maven followed his little sister into Midnight Woods. Even when he tried to grab her she was somehow stronger than him and pushed him back. Maven went flying across the woods but he didn't land against the wood of a tree or the hard ground of the forest. Instead, he lands against a hard brick well. The well seems pretty old, maybe 100 years old. Even though it seems as though the old well seems as though it could crumble with a butterfly kiss it is pretty sturdy and deep. Looking around Maven notices his little sister on the opposite side of the well. It looks as though she might jump. Maven goes sprinting around trying to reach his sister but failing. Even though Evangeline doesn't jump, a creature so horrifying it's almost beautiful flies out of the crumbling well and scoops Eva into its scaly arms. Maven keeping the promise he made to his sister dives in after them. Chasing the creature Maven dives as deep as he can until he can't breathe anymore. As he tries to swim up for a breath something wraps around his ankle. He starts squirming until his body is too weak to move. Without air in his lungs Mavens passes out and takes his last breath, but instead of air filling up his lungs water does cause him to die a terrible death.
