a couple days later
ever since i heard about josie on the news i've been feeling like i've been followed
yesterday i decided to walk home after helping with the talent show and a car was following behind me very slowly but i was unable to define the color
every time i stopped the car stopped, i turned around to see the whole car but all i could see were the headlights since it was dark
then the car zoomed off and that's not the only time it has happened
i've been scared to be at home alone and my parents are always working which doesn't make it any better
i've been asking billie to come over a lot lately which she doesn't mind at all, we've gotten alot closer but she's been acting weird
i pull out my phone to call billie and walk over to my window observing the dark streets and barely lit streetlights
as i'm calling billie i hear someone's phone ring from the darkness of the street and i see a black figure hiding in the shadows watching me
i drop my phone and hurriedly close my curtains and lock my door with my heart beating out of my chest as a single tear drop flows down my cheek in horror
i pick up my phone and call billie again and hear a phone ringing in the distance from the street
no it can't be true
out of nowhere there's a loud banging at the front door
i slowly get up from the floor, unlock my bed room door and make my way towards the front door with 911 on speed dial
i look through the peep hole and no one is there
i start making my way towards the stairs again but someone bangs on the door again, the door continues banging before it eventually stops
"sky?? open the door it's me" i was hesitant at first but then i opened the door to let billie in
but how did she get here so fast she lives at least ten minutes away from me and i don't think it's a coincidence that every time i called her i heard a distant ringing from the shadows of the street
"you alright baby? you look like you've seen a ghost"
i snap out of my thoughts and turn my focus towards billie, she was wearing all black with muddy shoes on
somethings not right
she closes the door and takes her shoes off pulling my arm towards the stairs but at this point i'm scared to even say anything
billie let's go of my hand as we enter my room and she walks up to the window that i was at earlier when i saw the shadowy figure watching me, staring at the same exact spot i had saw the person at
she turns around and stared at me without saying anything for a hot moment
"you know i'd do anything for you"
"what are you talking about" i ask confused but billie just turns back towards the window
"you know i'd die for you right?"
"billie your scaring me, what's going on?"
billie turns around and joins me on the bed without saying anything ignoring what i had just said to her
"promise me you won't leave"
"bil-"
"promise no matter how bad the things are that i've done, you'll stay" she says interrupting me and grabbing onto my hand
before i could answer i heard someone banging on the door, i look outside from my window and it's my parents back from there date
perfect timing billie was starting to creep me out
"stay here" i say to billie getting up to go downstairs and see my parents but closing the door to my room before i make my way there
"hey, how's your date" i say as i lean over the kitchen island eating a bowl of grapes
"it was magical" my mother said smiling at my dad, keep in my that my mom has a british accent
it's so cute
"it was" my dad agreed eyeing my mom up and down
no
no
no
not again i'm still traumatized from last time
"we're gonna be up stairs having a little ... fun"
"did you have to tell me that" i say covering my ears
i make my way upstairs after my parents and open the door to my pitch black room
before i left the curtains were open, the lamp near my bed was on and billie was sitting in the middle of my bed
but she was no where to be found i couldn't see anything it was so dark not even my hands in front of my face
i start walking forward cautiously but someone comes from behind me putting their hands on my waist
i couldn't see their face but i knew it had to be billie
i turned around and glide my finger down her lips so i could know where to kiss her
i leaned forward and smashed my lips to her
but something was different, something was wrong
i didn't taste her strawberry chapstick, i didn't smell her vanilla scent, her lips weren't as soft as they usually were
i open my eyes and just as i do the moonlight shines through my curtains giving the tiniest bit of light
the light hits the side of the persons face and a devilish grin played upon their lips
it wasn't billie
i start to slowly back away from the person making my way towards the door but with each step i took the mysterious person walked closer
i turned and ran out my room heading towards my parents room
i could hear loud moans come from their room but i really couldn't care less, i swung the door open covering my eyes
"THERES SOMEONE IN MY ROOM" i yell out of breath
my dad puts his robe on and take the bat from in his closet, gripping it tight as my mom followed behind him and me behind my mom
we finally get to my pitch black room and my dad starts looking around but there's no one in sight
"there's no one here"
"i swear there was they were right there" i say frustrated pointing at the spot that i had just kissed them at
i glanced over to the window and it was open, so they got in by the ladder
now i'll have to start locking my windows
"well i don't see anyone so we're going to go back to our room, just call if you need anything" he says patting my head like dog and smiling
they leave my room and i turn all my lights on , my brain is flooding with questions and confusion
where did billie go?
who the hell was that?
if that wasn't billie across the street stalking me then who was it?
suddenly a huge rock bust through my window, there was glass shattered everywhere
i heard a car zoom off so i ran to the window to see who's car it was
and as if it couldn't get anymore confusing i saw a ...
