Ch.1 Welcome To The Nekoma

■3rd person POV■

A bird lands its small feet on a slender finger. Flushed cheeks move a little as a beautiful (h/c) girl smiles at the bird. Her (e/c) eyes stare tenderly at the small bird that calmly rests on her finger. 

Y/N: how nice it is to be able to fly and go to wherever you want, right? Mr. bird...

Just then the bird flies, startled as a voice calling Y/N's name. Y/N's genuine smiles faded as she watches the bird flies away.

Nami: Princess, what are you doing here? come on, everyone is ready... the Queen and the King are also waiting near the ship. 

Y/N looks at her chaperon and nods her head.

Y/N: okay...

The chaperon stares at her lady and approaches her.

Nami: princess, why you look so down? aren't you suppose to be happy? we're going to sail on a big ship with your fiance's family. Aren't you happy to meet your handsome fiance duke Leon?

Y/N stares at her worried chaperon and friend, and then the corner of her lips went up a little. The two head to where everyone is at the dock, ready to get on the ship for an afternoon sail.

A man with dark green hair approaches Y/N with a smile.

Leon: shall we get on the ship, my dear fiance princess Y/N?

Y/N stares at Leon and then smiles wryly at him before taking his hand and walks next to him.

Y/N is the princess of Haikyuu Kingdom. Since she was born, she was showered with love by her parents and older brothers. But the thing is, she always follows what everyone told her to. Y/N didn't mind it, as long as it could help her parents and make them happy, she will comply.

Since she was young, the princess loves to read, and her favorite kind of book is the book about romance. Where the girl will meet her fated one, the princess meets his prince charming and live happily ever after. But, it seems like she won't be able to feel that too.

Her parents made her engaged to a young duke, Leon. This duke who's known to won every war he leads and made the Haikyuu kingdom's region grew. The king thought that he'll be the perfect match for his daughter, and so he made them engaged.

Leon is a handsome young man with many achievements, just like the male lead on the book Y/N reads. But, Y/N doesn't feel the sparks that every heroine feels as it was described in the book. She doesn't feel happy like how the female lead feels.

Maybe... the reality is not like how the book described..

Or... it's just her that have been fated not to be able to feel what the heroine feels...

She thought... while plastering a beautiful smile for everyone...

A beautiful fake smile...

■Y/N's POV■

The wind blows pretty strongly, hits my skin, and everything it passed. We're on a huge ship, cruising on the sea in the afternoon. The sky is getting darker as the afternoon changes to the evening. I watch as everyone on this ship enjoys whatever we have on board.

Leon: what is it, my princess? you don't look like you're enjoying our evening...

I was startled that when Duke Leon places his hands on my shoulder. 

Y/n: Ah... no... I

King: of course she's happy... my daughter is just shy... 

Father and mother came hand in hand. They always look happy when they're next to each other. Father and mother were also in an arranged marriage and they're happy.
