Ch.14 Hollow

■3rd Person POV■

The ships docking on the Haikyuu kingdom port. A carriage has been waiting to pick Y/N up. On her way to the palace, Y/N keeps on looking out from the window of the carriage. It looks as if seeing looking at something or imagining that she looks at something.

Leon sees this and he actually is quite mad. He had been trying to talk with her but Y/N never respond and keep looking out blankly. He remembers how she looks when she's with Kuroo and it's pissing him off. 

Leon: we're about to arrive at the palace princess... please remember what you told me back then... or I.. will send armies to that island.

Leon could see that Y/N flinches when he says that. he doesn't want to threaten her but he had to. And for the first time since they left the island, Y/N respond to him.

Y/N: yes...

The door of the carriage is opened and Y/N walks out.

Leon: if it's about them... you'll speak huh...

Right when y/N steps out of the carriage Everyone runs her way.

Queen: Y/N!

Shier: Y/N!

Zen: Y/N!

Y/N looks up to see her mother and brothers are going her way. Her eyes tear up because she misses them a lot.

Y/N: mother...

She's engulfed in everyone's arms as her family misses her a lot. Just then another presence approaches.

King: my daughter....

Y/N looks up to see her father.

Y/N: Father...

The King hugs her daughter tightly before pushing her back and showing how worried he was.

King: are you alright princess? are you hurt anywhere... Did those pirates hurt yo-

Y/N: No! I'm... alright father...

Shier: are you sure Y/N?

Leon: yes, the princess is alright... we came at the right time...

Y/N looks up at Leon and glares at him. Leon knew that glares mean he can't say anything bad about the Nekoma.

Queen: Duke Leon, thank you for saving my daughter...

Leon: it's my job as her fiance...

Leon looks at Y/N as he says the word fiance. Y/N looks away and suppresses the sadness and the pain in her chest.

King: what should we do to compensate your bravery Duke?

Leon looks at Y/N as the girl could only return his gaze weakly.

Leon: On our way here... the princess and I talk it out... we...

Shier could feel than his sister clutch on his sleeve.

Shier: Y/N?

Leon: want our wedding to be held next month...

Everyone looks at both Y/N and Leon.

Queen: is that so my dear?

Y/N only nods her head.

King: then if that's what my daughter desire, the wedding shall be held next month... Everyone should start preparing for the grand wedding...

Leon smiles as the King shakes his hand, thanking him again. He looks at Y/N who looks sad rather than happy. Though his heart clenches by the sight of her, he doesn't care, as long as he gets the kingdom and her, though he doesn't have her heart, he's fine.
