Sakusa was leaning against the train doorway, a bit unstable but more sanitary than holding onto one of the handles or being squished between a smoker and a narcissistic business guy. Keeping his balance, Sakusa huddled close to himself and checked his phone every once in a while.

They were supposed to meet at 12:30, and currently, Sakusa took the 10:40 train, a bit too early for his liking but he was restless. He was surprised he got some decent sleep- and by decent, 3 hours max with a lot of twisting and turning.

Depending on how the situation ends up, he hopes he still has the guts to say what he has to say. It's new territory, he's never really liked someone nor has the other person liked him back. Sakusa would be confessed to multiple times, and every time he had to turn them down. No reason to say yes just to be nice.

The next stop was the one Sakusa had to get off on; Atsumu had said that he'd buy him something from this cute cafe he went to. At this point, the taller male let him do what he wanted.

Sakusa was relieved that he'd grown quite mature over the years. He appears stoic but he did have a bit of a nasty tongue. Persistent and stubborn, he'd ask questions and expect the answers immediately, and if there weren't any, he'd know longer associate with you. It was harsh, but that's how Sakusa saw things back then.

He became much calmer, he was able to control his rather blunt and forceful attitude onto others. But with Atsumu, it's a whole different story. At times, Sakusa caught himself blushing and chuckling genuinely, talking back and coming up with witty comments- as if he was like his younger self again back in high school.

He checked his phone once again, no new messages.

The ravenette got off the train. It was bustling with life on a Sunday afternoon. The winter season coming to an end, the spring breeze arriving soon, it felt weird that he started texting Atsumu in the fall. And in those several months, he's known so much about him, his behavior, the way he texts, the way he talks, how he handles certain situations and how his performance is in college. Sakusa just never knew his face nor his name.

He finally arrived at the park, the place where they said that they would meet up. But it was too early- 11:27.

The park wasn't loud but it wasn't quiet. There were a few families with their children running about, soft laughter and playful banter filled the air. Some people sat on the benches, sat under the trees and talked amongst themselves as they looked at each other.

Sakusa huffed, stuffing his cold hands into his pockets. It may be spring soon, but the weather was still a bit chilly- hence why the male dressed in a turtleneck and long coat with black jeans. It was something casual, something nice. Perhaps he put in some effort into his fashion today since he was seeing someone; someone he likes.

He scanned the area, looking for a familiar faux-blonde male who was slightly shorter than him. Honestly, he didn't know why he was looking; it's not as if the other would come early too.

In the meantime, Sakusa put on his earphones and turned on some music. It helped calm his nerves for a bit, grateful that he had something in hand.

The clock struck 12:30- and a little after that, Atsumu appeared from a distance. Sakusa took out his accessory and put his phone away, waving at the guy who had greeted him first.

Atsumu held two coffee cups in his hands, giving one to Sakusa who took it under his care. He thanked the other, shaking it a bit before sipping the hot coffee. It was a bit too sweet for his liking but nonetheless, he gratefully drank it anyway.

"Hoped ya liked it? Didn't know how much cream or sugar ya liked," he chuckled, walking past the taller while also waiting for him. Sakusa caught the hint and began walking alongside him.
