"I just can' believe it, I'm going to be a star." Gibbered Chloe on the way to the audition. "Thanks for coming along with me for friendly support." I smiled at her, "I'd always support my best friend."

The rest of the walk we spent in nervous silence. Suddenly looming him front of us was the grand majestic theatre. I stared at it in awe while Chloe pulled me inside.

Then she signed up and we waited. It was hours before they called her name but when they finally did she pulled me in with her. I was pretty sure that I was not meant to be in here so I sat in the shadows and waited.

First she sung a phrase from "defying gravity" which was from the musical Wicked. Then she acted a part out from Matilda and finally she did a small dance which the dance director taught her. I thought that she had done really well.

That's when it all started to go wrong. I wasn't focusing when she left the room I was in my own little dream world and that's when they saw me.

The stage director instantly told me to come down from there. "well I assume your here to audition, so let's get on with it" I turned pale. "Audition?" I stammered " well of course, you'd be auditioning for Dorothy with the red sparkly shoes and blue top." I started to sweat badly. "so please sing us a little song." I only knew one song from Broadway and that was "I want to live in America" from West Side Story. So I decided to sing that. When I finished all the judges looked stunned. Was I really that bad? The director started to rap his pen quickly against his clipboard. " what's your name?" " Zoey Bright." "Well Zoe you will receive your results after lunch, they will be up on the board." I nodded and left.
