It was early in the morning. Shika and inojin left on look out last night. Shika decided that it would be better if we take shifts. So we got pared up kinda like this

I walked over at the kitchen and made a coffee for myself. I was drinking the coffee when sumire came. I took a sip and said "Hey morning. You ready for our turn. It's in an hour". She looked up and said "Yeah sure". I sensed a bit coldness in her voice. But I shrug it said to myself 'I hate her too. So I couldn't care less'. Soon bolt came down and she got all cheerful before saying "Oh. Boruto-kun your awake. Good morning. How are your wounds. Are they OK. Are you feeling good".she asked everything there was to ask. She didn't leave me a single thing to ask him. He grinned and said " all good". He than came and sat next to me. He sat really close. Our shoulders were touching. He never did this in front of people who don't know about our relationship. I let it be since it was in front of sumire. I smiled at him and asked "you good". I asked all the questions in one. He nodded childishly and took my coffee and took a sip from it.

I secretly looked over to see sumire's reaction. She had her mouth a bit open. I decided to add a little fuel to the fire and I said "bolt. If you want one all you have to do is ask". He looked at me and said "one?. Anything?. Will you give it to me of I ask". I giggled and said "gosh bolt. I was talking about coffee. Idiot". He chucked and said " Hey at least I'm your idiot".i just laughed at his reply. He really is something. I knew that he wanted to reveal our relationship. But I kept him from doing so. Since sumire won't back down, I think it's best if we reveal it. And this was his way if revealing it. He finished the coffee cup and kept it on the table. Sumire came and sat infront of Boruto. I just shook my head in disbelief and walked over to the sink with the empty cup. I washed the cup and came back. I sat next to him. He laid down on the table and he said "when is your shift". Before I could answer sumire said "Oh. It's in 45 minutes. I'm her partner actually". He looked at me and said "is she". I nodded. She quickly said "why don't you join us Boruto-kun". He looked at her and said " nah. I'm going to head out".

I looked at him and asked "and where would that be?". He gently caressed my cheeks and said "my mission. I'm supposed to meet up with someone". I put my hand on top of his and said "Ok. Just don't be too hard on yourself". He smiled while saying "thats my girl. Anyway I'm going. Bye class rep. And take care of yourself". Whith that said he left the kitchen. Once he was out of sight sumire said "what was that. Why were you all clingy on him". I raised an eyebrow and said "excuse me. I'm not the one who was clingy. And even if I was why do you care". "cause he is mine". She snapped at me. That the last straw. "look. I don't know that you are playing dumb or just don't want except that me and bolt are dating". When I finished she scoffed and said "as if. Prove that". I sighed and said " did you not see his actions just now". "Oh he was just being polite". Gosh this girl. While we were arguing bolt came down ready and stood next to me. He smiled at sumire and looked at me. He hugged me from back and kept his chin on my shoulder. While taking some nuts from the bowl on the table he said "I'm heading out. I might be late this time. Don't wait up K". I looked at him and blushed when I saw his side profile so close. Not like it was the first time but everytime it happened the result are like this. But I still manage to say "how late. If it's not that late I can wait for you". He unexpectedly turned to me and I quickly turned away. He chuckled and said "cute. But seriously don't wait up I'm might come home tomorrow. Plus I want my princess to get a good night's sleep. K. I'm gonna miss you. Bye". He kissed my cheeks and got up. He looked at sumire and said "Bye class rep".

With that said he left. Once he was out of the door I turned to her and said "you got your proof". She slowly nodded and said "since when". I shingh and said "few months have passed actually". She laughed maniacly and said "he may be your boyfriend now but I'll make him mine". I just shook my head and headed out for the place where we are supped to meet with shika. I didn't wait for her since it just gonna be a waste of time. Can't wait for this day to be over.
