Farewell

Boruto's POV

Sarada left for home a few hours ago. Sensei dad and kawaki were here. The atmosphere got really serious. Dad sighed and said "we are not getting anywhere with these little things we are bringing from their headquarters". Anyone could tell dad was frustrated by now. Suddenly kawaki said "what if we fake a fight between us and go join Kara". "Yeah. That could work. I mean we will make them believe we are a part of them and we are with them. Once they share us the information we will secretly inform you guys and will make their plans fail. Like itachi-San". Once I finished sensei said "that could work. It's just risky". "then we are willing to take that risk". Me and kawaki said at the same time. Dad and sensei shared a look. "Ok. We will go with that. So when are we starting Sasuke". Sensei thought for a second and said "how about tomorrow. The sooner the better". We all nodded. But suddenly kawaki asked a question "Hey dimwit. Should we tell Sarada about this. I mean she is your girlfriend and she will hate you if you keep her in the dark and go Rogue".

We all froze at what kawaki said. "I think you should tell her. She is your girlfriend". I looked at sensei for an opinion he sighed and said "I know how much you want to tell her. It's okay by me". I thought for a moment and said "I think I'm not going to tell her. This mission might take years. She is Dreaming to be the hokage. If she hold ons to a Rogue ninja the villagers won't be so pleased. And her safety is something that I can't put at risk". Sensei smiled and said "you know. I'm really proud that you grew up to be the person you are today. Thank you for what your willing to do for my daughter. I'm sure it will be hard at first. But as the time goes on I'm pretty much sure she will be fine". I nodded. We discussed the plan and dad and sensei left. Me and kawaki were the only ones on the room.

A silence took over both of us. "Hey it's gonna be okay. When ever you feel like you miss her we can come back to check up on her. And hey you said you will be protecting her and the village form the shadows right. Just like your sensei. So I suggest you spend every single moment with your loved ones. But first I get hima. You can have at the end of the day". I chuckled as he left me. I knew I was doing this for a good reason and I'm fine with it. But the thought that Sarada might move on saddens me. But she will have to find a shoulder to lean on. Aunt Sakura came and said "Your free to go. Turns out you heal fast just like your dad". Soon I left the hospital. I walked over to home and saw kawaki with hima. They called me to join them so I did. We three hanged out. We bought hima a lot of gifts. We both gave gifts for mom too. Soon it was sunset and I met up with Sarada. We went to her house. Sensei saw me and gave me the signal. I knew this was it. I went to her room and we plopped down on the bed. I hugged her and kept her close. This is going to be the last time huh. She looked at me and said "bolt I have something for you". She took a ring from her pocket and slid it down my pinkie finger. I smiled and said "thank you". She nodded and laid back down. Soon I heard soft snore and I stood up. I placed some gifts I bought for her. Before going I took a glance. She was still wearing that necklace I gave her on the day I confessed. She was wearing the promise ring I gave her. I closed the door behind and saw sensei. He kept a hand on my shoulder and said "it's going to be okay". I nodded and left.

It was morning and the Uchiha family and the Uzumaki family was at the Uzumaki residence having breakfast. This is going to be it. Kawaki was kinda moody and extra clingy with hima. Hima was giggling and making lame jokes with kawaki. We heard the doorbell ring and we saw shikamaru uncle with shika. Yes they both know about the plan. We'll they have to know about it since they are the brains of all the operations that Konoha had done. Shika came and said "Hey". I smiled and waved at him. Shikamaru uncle came and gave a document. He took the document and after reading it he said "oh a shinobi to represent Konoha. We should send the strongest right. Hmm. Well there is nothing to think about shikadai your going". I huffed and said "you said the strongest. Don't you think I'm stronger than him and isn't kawaki stronger too. Dad we even have the karma seal". Kawaki nodded at what I said. he said" yeah you have it. But without it I don't think you are strong. You even used the scientific ninja tool at the chunin exams".

Sarada's POV

Lord seventh announced his decision. I was kinda sad. I think bolts stronger though. But suddenly I heard him say "you said the strongest. Don't you think I'm stronger than him and isn't kawaki stronger too. Dad we even have the karma seal". Kawaki nodded at what he said ". Without wasting another second Lord seventh said" Yeah you have it. But without it I don't think you are strong enough. You even used the scientific ninja tool at the chunin exams". Boruto slammed his hands on the table and said "I SPEND ALL MY BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS TO TRAIN MY ASS OUT JUST TO HEAR YOU SAY THAT. YOU KNOW I USED THAT STUPID TOOL JUST TO IMPRESS YOU. I WOULDN'T HAVE USED IT IF YOU PAID ATTENTION TO ME. YOU NEVER EVEN SPEND TIME WITH US. YOU EVEN SENT A CLONE ON HIMA'S BIRTHDAY. YOUR THE WORST FATHER. AFTER YOU ADOPTED KAWAKI I THOUGHT I WAS NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU. BUT TURNED OUT WE BOTH WERE NOT ENOUGH FOR YOU. HE WAS THE ONE WHO GAVE ME SUPPORT AND ENCOURAGEMENT. WE MAY ARGUE BUT HE IS WAY BETTER THAN MY SO CALLED FATHER ". as he finished the whole house went silent. Tears were flowing down his cheeks. Kawaki had the same expression." I thought you loved us. I thought I finally got someone to call a father. But I guess I was wrong. I hoped for one thing in this world and it it. Forget it your not even worth these tears". Kawaki said but in a low voice. They both got up and started to leave. They went to there room. They must need alone time. I know Lord seventh only said that to look out for him. He didn't mean anything bad. But bolt never understood that.

We heard their room door open and their stood kawaki and bolt. Both had bags over their shoulder. They entered the room and knelt down in front of hima. The both put both their hands on her cheeks and said "we love you. Your our favourite girl in this world. Do what ever you want. Become someone your proud of. Make us proud". Bolt and kawaki came in front of hinata aunt and said "Mom goodbye". Aunt hinata started to cry. Lord seventh grabbed bolts shoulder and said "your not going anywhere. Look at your mom. Sister. Your girlfriend". He looked at me with cold eyes and said "they don't matter to me anymore. When I said goodbye I meant goodbye old me". Kawaki was at the front door. He called for Boruto. He started to walk. I hugged him from behind and said "no. No. Please. Bolt don't leave. I want you to be there when I become hokage. I want you by my side". He turned around to look at me and said "why the heck are you always crying. I'm tired of this shit. We're done. Now I'm starting to think I should have went to sumire. At least she would be willing to do what ever for me". My heart shuttered into million pieces.

He was walking again. I cried and begged for him to come back. He stopped and said "if your that hurt then hate me. Hunt me down. And when you become hokage ill come to you. I'll come and congratulate you". He walked away. Dad and lord seventh stood at the door blocking it. The both aimed at Lord seventh and he was in pain. Then before Lord seventh could recover bolt mad shadow clones to hold them down and before going he launched a sharingan at papa. How could he. Dad was the one who taught him everything. They both disappeared into the forests. Dad stood up and said "Naruto as much as it pains me to say this. We have to announce that Boruto and kawaki are now Rogue ninjas and we have to put them on the bingo book". No. No. He didn't mean it. I'm sure he was just upset. He will come back. He will come back right?.
