Once, in the great kingdom of Sparks, there lived a very powerful king named Arthur and his wife, Ariel. They had no children at all. But they were expecting a new member of their family. On May 14th, 2003, the prince was born. The kingdom rejoiced. The people of Sparks were happy that a prince was born into their kingdom. The king and queen named him Robin, meaning fame. There was a royal ball at the palace to celebrate this day. The king invited everyone. Everyone but the most feared person. The one and only real witch, Doom. She was furious. But she had a plan to take her revenge. She attended the ball. The king and queen had no idea that they hadn't invited her." Welcome, Doom!" The king greeted." Please do bless our son," the queen requested. "Indeed, my lords. May I, Doom, see the handsome little boy." Doom sneered. "Of course, Doom, come with us to the ballroom. Robin is among the other guests." Doom grinned. Her plan was working perfectly. She had everyone right where she needed them to be.
Doom followed the king and queen to the ballroom, where Robin lay laughing. Then all of the sudden darkness filled the room. "Pathetic humans how dare you insult a witch of great power like this. You will pay for your insulting behavior!" then all of the darkness went inside Ariel's stomach. "I curse you to never give birth to any girl." After saying this, Doom vanished into thin air. The palace was silent. Only Robin laughed. "Shut up!" Arthur shouted. Robin started to cry. "Ugh! How could this baby laugh after his mother being cursed? A good child, even though a baby, should have cried at least at the appearance of Doom." "I think he's bad luck." the people began to whisper. Arthur believed that his son was bad luck. The whole kingdom believed that the prince was bad luck. The maids abandoned him. Arthur was about to banish him when Ariel stood in front of Robin and pleaded, "Honey, he might be bad luck, but he's your son, he's our son and the future heir to the throne. Please don't banish him, I beg you." tears rolled down from Ariel's eyes. Arthur couldn't bear to see her cry. He sighed. "Fine! Just because I love you" The king and the maids left for Arthur's room. Robin was left alone with Ariel, crying. Ariel lifted him and hugged him to her bosom. In a short time, Robin fell asleep. Ariel was tired as well and at a length closed her eyes to take a rest. Arthur who had come to check up on her took Ariel to her room. He couldn't get Robin away from Ariel though. She held him closer to her than her life. So, Arthur left Robin with Ariel.
The next morning Ariel woke up fresh like never before. She wanted to hug Robin and cuddle him all day. But he wasn't in her arms. She looked all around the room but couldn't find the baby. Ariel then rushed to the room that had been prepared for Robin. He wasn't there either. She looked for him all around the palace but couldn't find him anywhere. "Arthur Honey have you seen Robin anywhere?" she asked her husband. But he just shook his head, happily. She looked at him in the eyes. "I already told you I haven't seen that misfortune anywhere," Arthur replied. Then they heard a shriek from Robin's room. Ariel looked at him. He sighed. "Might as well help the maids," "Quit joking and help me," They went to the room and their eyes widened at the sight. "Your majesty help us!" the maids screamed. "The baby is walking?" tears ran down Arthur's eyes. Robin walked up to him and wiped Arthur's tears. Arthur couldn't bear it anymore. He hugged his son with joy asking Robin and Ariel to forgive his selfishness. At the table, Arthur and Ariel were having breakfast. The couple still couldn't believe what had happened. The boy took his first steps a day after he was born!" Your Majesty," the maid's voice broke into their thoughts. The king and queen of Domino." The royals entered. They were just married the day before and couldn't attend Robin's birth ceremony. Ariel and Arthur told them everything that had happened, and the king and queen of Domino were more than puzzled. The queen took Robin in her arms." He is a cute boy! A blonde boy with lush green eyes, a cute combination. He must be special to you two." She said smiling. "He sure is special to us Marian. He's our only little child." Ariel looked at Robin as he laughed out loud. "I think you should do something about your people. They might even kill him." Orthel the King of Domino suggested. "Orthel is right, the baby is in danger Arthur." Marian urged. "But what can we do?" both Ariel and Arthur asked. "You do the only thing you can do." Orthel said "Go to Ophelia!" both Marian and Orthel said in one voice.
