Mehh, this isn't my favourite chapter...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ileft Anne’s the next day, I didn’t tell her why. I just said I needed to get home.
I moved school, to a crummy one down the road, but what did it matter? Nothing mattered anymore. My life had lost all meaning. I don’t even know why I was staying alive anymore. I stopped eating, stopped talking, and stopped living to be honest.
The only thing I took interest in was song writing. That’s what I did with my bottled up feelings, I wrote them down on paper.
And then the time came round where I had to take my A-levels at college. By that time, I was completely deflated, skinny and ill. I gave it all up, everything I had ever been good at. I chucked all my talent away and worst of all, I had a little voice of my Granddad in my head telling me how disappointed he was in me.
But that didn’t matter.
Nothing did.
One day I made up my mind that I wanted to quit school, half way through my A-levels.
I couldn't think twice about doing this...
I just decided to leave school.
My mum probably took this the worst way possible.
She screamed, she shouted, she cried, she ignored me for days.
But i didn't care.
I was almost 17. But in my mum's eyes i was still a little fragile girl, I needed to show her that I was independant and that i didnt need her in my life.
That's when i decided to leave home.
***************************
I packed up 3 full suitcases which literally contained my life and I went. I wrote 3 words on paper before i left:
Hate to Disappoint
I thought about writing something nice like: I love you or something, but I knew it would make leaving home easier for both me and my mum if I acted like i hated her.
I didn't, of course i didn't. I just needed to leave the nest I had lived in for so long, I needed to leave all the memories both bad and good behind.
I needed to start a fresh.

If the city never sleeps then that makes two
London was the only option I had for now, it was the centre of everything, I was so naive in thinking that someone might offer me a job and that I'd earn a fortune and be rich forever. But my realisations were ruined too quickly.
It was 9 pm when I left Brighton. The train journey was long, and depressing, and tiring and lonely.
I missed the company of my mum, her jokes, her love, how much she cared about me.
I missed my baby sister Annie too, she was always the perfect one of the two, so young, so innocent, so loving (despite her constant attempts to hurt me).
I arrived in London around 1am. It was cold, dark and rainy. I guess that's nothing new for England, but it felt so much colder and darker and rainier than ever before.
I barely knew my way around London. All I knew was that my dad lived here.
And so did Harry, for now. I dont know long he'd be around though because it was the xfactor final tomorrow evening...so if they didn't win he'd probably be heading home.
I had three options on where to go...
Harry's X-factor place (I didn't know where on earth that was)
The streets of London
Dad's house
I chose the latter.
I braced myself as I dialled dad's number into my phone...
"Hello?"
"Hi."
"Who is this please?"
"Your daughter."
"Amelia?"
"No"
"Sophia?"
"Wrong family dad."
"Pardon?"
"What about those 2 girls you abandoned 2 years ago, for your new family?"
"Oh Anna?"
"It's Anne or Annie, but no."
"Luciana?"
"please dad, no one has called me that since I was 3. Oh but you wouldn't know that would you..." I replied bitterly.
"Wow, calm down there, what a pre-teen."
"I was a pre-teen, 5 years ago."
"Why did you call me?"
"I'm in London."
"Oh lovely, why don't you all pop by to say hello tomorrow morning."
"I left home. I need a place to stay."
There was a long silence at the end of the phone.
"You know my adress..." He said, unwillingly, after about 3 minutes of silence.
There we go, another long(er) chapter. What do you think is going to happen next?!
