So if you are planning to make your characters have vacation or do travel. Pick a place that was known or to be known. For example: if your story is tagalog, pick a place in the Philippines who got a great meaning for your story or character, or a place that was known, or a place that wasn't know but deserves to be know, somewhere the readers will be amazed and will be willing to go there.
