Sam sighed as she looked through her closet of clothes. She went through skirts and dresses trying to find something presentable but comfortable. It doesn't help that most of the clothes she has doesn't include comfort. You can thank her "friends" for that. Sam finally picked out a red tie on top (Pictures at the end of chapter.) and a tight black skirt. She quickly put on outfit and put her hair in a braided bun. She turned around hearing a conversation. It was between the other girl that just just came from Earth Bloom and Stella.
Sam couldn't help but listen in. Sam looked and saw the red bead from before walk into the door way. Stella sighed and went to get a rainbow skirt that was laid on her bed. "May I help you?" Red head looked at her again and gave her a questioning look, "Y-yeah are you changing? Sam kept im her laughter as Stella sighed again, "Yeah, I am". Red head looked questioningly at her, "Oh... I thought the orientation party was a casual thing?" Stella looked at herself in the mirror growing annoyed, "It is" she simply replied trying to decided if she liked the skirt. Red head looked at her "So a causal thing your changing for?" Stella gave her a fake smile, "People have already seen me in this outfit, they would expect me to wear something different." Red head smiled and laughed a bit, "People expect you to wear multiple outfits a day?" Stella looked at her ready to say something.
But Sam walked into the two, "People expect her how to look, They expect something from her giving the fact she is from solaria-"Stella accidentally slipped that out during their little time together when Stella gave her a tour. "They expect her to look a certain way and act a certain way. Be perfect." Red head looks at Sam and gives her a look as well, "You changed to?" Bloom smirked, she wasn't trying to be rude. She just asked to many questions for her own good. "Yeah? I'm used to it my own school expected the same things out of me." Sam said going back go her bedroom, as she forgot to put in her necklace. Sam looked everywhere for it but couldn't find it. She decided to look through her suitcase maybe putting it in with her other clothes.
When she couldn't find it she started having a mental break down. "clam down Sam, it's probably here some where or maybe I dropped it!!" Sam said trying to calm herself down. But it wasn't working that necklace meant something to her and it was the one thing that reminded her of the blonde girl. "Come on it's here somewhere I couldn't have forgotten it!" Sam finally just dropped to the floor in defeat. Sam leaned up against her bed, her mood was destroyed.
Stella walked into sam's room as she heard some cries. "Hey, you doing okay?" Stella said knocking on the golden trim door. Sam quickly wiped her tears and put on a fake smile. "Y-yeah I'm fine." Stella rolled her eyes, "Alright whatever, everyone needs to go to the orientation. That includes you."
Sam rolled her eyes and told her she was coming. Sam quickly gained her composure again and fixed up any flaws in her makeup. Her friends always told her, if you look good the boys will wants you, if you look sexy enough the girls will want to be you, if you don't let anybody see your vulnerability then your the one bullied. Always that way, if Sam needed to have a breakdown than after school it is. Can't let them see her vulnerability.
Sam quickly got out off her head and took one last look and headed out of her room. She was surprised to see Stella waiting for her. "Took you long enough." Stella said annoyed. Sam rolled her eyes and walked out the door into the dorm hallway. Stella stepped out and locked the door and led the way. Stella suddenly stopped before they got to the stairwell for the orientation. "You aren't doing well, I can't tell I hide my emotions as well, we'll talk later." as she said that she left down the stairs to be greeted by her ex and some other annoying people.
Sam sighed, "whatever." Sam couldn't care less, she walked to a open seat beside Musa who was still listening to her music. Musa smiled but went straight to a neutral face. Sam grabbed her phone and looked through old texts and pictures. Sam was blinded by her friends. She didn't realize they were entirely toxic. Maybe they weren't great at times by heck they were the only things she got.
