After I talked with Ray, I slowly walked up to the stairs to check Emma and Norman. I gently turned the knob open and saw Emma crying 

Seeing my sibling cry makes my heart broke but it's the right thing in order for us to survive "Emma, what's wrong?" I asked as I walk towards her, gently wiping Emma's tears 

"She missed Conny and we didn't get to return little bunny. That's why she's crying" Norman said which is a lie as I sat between them in bed 'This is my first time hearing Norman lied' 

I gave Emma a hug and let her lay at my lap "It's fine, she promised that she will send letters to us" I said with a soft voice in order for her to calm down which make Emma hug my stomach as I felt my blouse wet from her tears 

"Yeah, she really did" Norman smiled making me smile back, I gently grab his hand and pulled him close letting him lay at my shoulder 

"Norman, I know you missed Conny too. There's no need to lie" I said as I heard him let out a tired sigh and hold my hand tightly "Yeah, you're right. I'm sorry" Norman apologised 

Everything was silent as I gently hummed a lullaby in order for the duo to fell asleep

An hour have passed as I heard a snore from the two making me smile, I gently put Norman at the side of the bed before putting Emma beside him and gently tucked them with a blanket 

"Sleep well, my dear siblings" I said giving a kiss on each of their forehead and walk out of the room silently before going to mama's office 

I gently knock the door as I heard footsteps grew bigger each step and finally the door opened to see mama "They found out the secret, Y/n" she said as she move to the side for me to come in 

"I know" I said as she gently close the door and look at me "Y/n, why did you let them go to the gates?" she asked crossing her arms 

"How am I supposed to stop them? 'Hey Emma, don't go to the gates, the demons are there ready to eat Conny' besides you're just gonna ship them out before they escape" I mocked making mama glare at me 

"Y/n, you must show respect to elders. What happened to you? You were supposed to be a sweet and loving child" she said 

"One, I only show respect to elders if they're not trying to ship out my siblings for "survival" and second, I can be sweet and loving only to my siblings" I explained and I can feel tears were forming in my eyes since this is the first time I fight back to the only mother I have 

"Y/n" she called making me tensed up and I know I'm fucked up "Father will be disappointed, if you say that" she said as she slowly walk towards me which I take a step back on every step till I hit the wall 

"Why you keep saying "father"? What's so important to him?" I asked as she towered me "You'll find out soon" she smiled as she gently put her hand on my cheek gently wiping my tear with her thumb 

"I'll let you go, for now" she stated "But keep an eye on them, alright?" she smiled making me nod slowly "Yes mama" I said as I quickly walk out of her office
