Sigh.. another day, another hell coming
Why you ask? School days, and here i am, standing beside a stop sign, waiting till i can walk, looking at my phone, checking the news like i always do every single day.
'Can't i just stay and take care of my sister? Its hella boring!' I thought.
Well, its how humans do, they go to work, some just sit in their sofas, some just play games, lucky them, while me here, suffering (T^T) besides, i'm a human like them..or am i?
«Time Skip»
"MATSUBAKI ELI!!"
Yup, you heard it right, I am Matsubaki Eli, a 17 years old who studies in the famous school, Kiretanaida Academy, i'm currently on 3rd year highschool along with my friend since i was only 7, Yuki Shinokawa, she's also 17 like me, she's great in bow and arrows, which makes me jealous a bit.
"What Yuki-chan? So early in the morning your here shouting at me for the 100th time now" I chuckled as she just pouted at me
"When will we have girl time? We usually do ever since childhood! And now your being a beautiful bookworm here!" She exclaimed.
Who could blame me, i love studying, but i'm in second rank which is fine to me.
"You do know we will have exams soon right?"
"Yeah but-"
"Alright class, lets start our lesson for today"
Yuki groaned as she went to her sit, i giggled at her grumpy situation, its kinda funny, I looked at the window and stared outside, looking at the dancing leaves of the Sakura tree, well, i could say..
This is gonna be a long day to me..
»Lunch«
Me and Yuki are currently on the rooftop, eating our lunch as we always do, chatting about things and plans since it is weekend tomorrow
"Say, have you heard the news? There some missing kids here nowadays, the bad news is, its girl with furchia hair like yours! Oh my.. what if you get kill as well?! You know i wouldnt let that-" "Just shut up and eat you loud mouth, i heard the news okay? I'll be fine"
I practically shoved a piece of sushi on her mouth since she's being loud again, but instead of stopping, she just ate and continued
"But believe me! Its..a creature who kills those kids!"
"There's no such thing as monsters Yuki, your watching too much fanfic shows.."
"Well, your friend isnt lying ya know?"
Suddenly a voice interrupted our talk as our heads turned to the one who spoke, there was a man in cloak along with a huge monster beside him, we quickly stood up as Yuki came infront and blocked me from the guy
Seems familiar to me tho...
"Who are you?!" She asked angrily
"My name doesnt matter to you, i want that female.. now" He pointed as the monster beside him growls
"Alright Mr. Doesnt matter to you! You will face me first!"
"Tsk.. stubborn humans!" The strange man exclaimed as he suddenly blasted a magic ball towards us
But..why do i feel like, powerful? I don't know..but Yuki, she'll get hurt!
3rd pov
Suddenly, explosion was heard on the academy's rooftop, smoke slowly disappears as the young lad coughs
"E-Eli...? W-what the.." She stuttered as her eyes were widened by the sight
Eli, who she thought was just a human like her, was now infront of her, both hands up as a force field surrounded them
'She..cant be..' she thought, shaking in fear
"I will.. never let you hurt my friend!" Eli shouted as a magical mark infront of her appear and swiftly takes out a flaming sword
The man, along with the monster stood there, stunned by the sight.
"She's.." "The missing demi goddess.. Matsubaki Eli!"
And thats where, the first battle, started!
