Chapter 1

Since your birthday celebration, you and Yuji had gotten even closer. Currently, you were waiting outside the front gates with Megumi, Nobara and Yuji. You were waiting for the person you'd be going on your newly assigned mission with. Jujutsu High Auxiliary Manager Akari Nitta.

Once she arrived at the front gate, the four of you got in the car. You sat in the front with Yuji, Nobara and Megumi in the back. She was going over the information for your newly assigned mission.

"June. Morioka. Taichi Kanada. August. Yokohama. Osamu Shimada. September. Nagoya. Hiroshi Yamato. These three died under the same circumstances. Death by stabbing at their respective apartment's entrance. Also, all three had recently complained to building management that... the auto-lock on the automatic doors was wide open. However, none of the other residents noticed." Akari explains.

"But all the dates and locations are different. Did they really get killed by the same Jurei cursed spirit?" Megumi asks.

"Does the door issue have anything to do with Jurei? Would Jurei even trip a door sensor?" Yuji asks.

"It wasn't the door sensor." You add.

"Yes, Y/N's right. It wasn't the door sensor. The door operator was influenced by the Jurei and went crazy." Akari says.

"Right..." Yuji says.

"It's hard to confirm from the crime scenes whether or not it's the same Jurei. So we investigated if there is a common thread connecting all three. We found that they all went to the same junior high for two years." Akari says.

"So, the three of them got the same curse. And then it manifested after all these years?" You ask.

"Yup. There's a good chance that's the case." Akari says.

"We're on out way to walk to a classmate who knew all three. I'd like you four to observe as Jujutsu sorcerers." Akari explains.

Akari continued driving before you all arrived at a house. That was holding a funeral for the Morishita family.

"A funeral..." Yuji points out.

"This is where their classmate lives?" Nobara asks.

"Yeah, but..." Akari paused. "This isn't good. Seems like he died the same way as the other three." Akari sighed in frustration.

"He lived with his parents and there's no auto-lock. But he was killed in front of his house. He claimed that even though the door was unlocked, it wouldn't open. Or so the family says..." Akari says.

The five of you then head towards the school Morishita used to attend in hope to find any new leads. You continued walking before arriving, staring up at the school in front of you.

"His parents aren't sure what his relationship to the other three was... oh well... that was our only lead." Akari sighed.

"No problemo! There's gotta be something at this school!" Yuji said, trying to raise everyone's spirits.

You all walked onto the campus, looking around the see if you could find any people who could help out.

"Oh! We got some punks over there. Let's beat 'em up and make 'em talk." Nobara said with a smirk.

The two "punks" perked up when Nobara said that and began bowing at a 90 degree angle in front of the five of you. Leaving you speechless.

"Hello!" The first said.

"Sorry for not greeting you properly!" The other one said.

"Heh... that's more like it." Nobara smugly said.
