Wings of fire what-ifs[Discontinued]

If Tsunami didn't kill Gill

       Glory hated being scarlet's pet. The skywing queen could replace Kestrel as her least favorite dragon. She suddenly heard sounds from the arena that snapped her up.

Glory watched from her pedestal as Tsunami walked into the arena. "Behold Tsunami of the seawings!" Vermilion cried. 

Glory heard cheering from the croud watching. 

NO! Not tsunami! Why do they have to choose her to fight? What if she doesn't make it. Glory anxiously thought. Believe in her Glory, she can fight off anything.

"As for her opponent... Some of you might remember a seawing a few months back who refused to fight."

"BOOOOOO" all the skywings and the guests yelled.

"I give you.. Gill of the seawings!"

A skinny, unstable seawing walked into the arena soon after. 

That must be Gill.

"Claws up. Tails ready! Fight!" Vermilion yelled.

The battle had started. Gill jumped probably expecting to catch tsunami off guard, but Tsunami leaped before Gill had a chance to pin her down.

Go tsunami! Glory cheered.

Gill nipped tsunami's tail and scratched her underbelly, luckily not doing much damage. She quickly turned around and kicked Gill in the snout. He coughed some blood up, and rose up. 

Tsunami narrowed her eyes and went behind him and used her tail to sweep him off the ground. Tsunami then quickly pinned him down. 

"I have won! You can all see that. I ask you to let him live." Tsunami said facing Scarlet.

"Snap his neck!"

"Pull out his throat!"

"Rip off his wings!"

"BLOOD"

The crowd yelled.

"Perhaps, our seawing here is too cowardly to face battle." Scarlet mocked.

"NO." Tsunami yelled. "He is innocent, he doesn't deserve to be die."

Gill wriggled underneath her. Come on Tsunami, do something or he is going to struggle out.

"Dragons are born to fight, the ones that don't are utterly stupid and useless." Scarlet growled.

"Well the dragons like you don't deserve to live! I can't believe your fellow skywings haven't murdered you yet!"

That was the last straw for the queen, and she leaped down, aiming for tsunami's throat.

No! Glory thought. Her scales turned a bright red, And without thinking, she opened her mouth, and aimed her venom toward Scarlet's face.

When the venom hit her, Scarlet screeched, and ran around in circles like a beheaded chicken.

There was steam foaming from the side of her face, and scarlet then collapsed.

Burn, watching everything that happened, called her guards to take scarlet to their palace.

"ITS A SANDWING ATTACK!!!!" Some yelled!

"SCARLET IS DEAD!!!" Others cried.

"RUN WHILE YOU CAN!!!"

A random skywing that seemed unusual and had blue eyes flew down, clay also somehow got his wing cuffs off and glided down too.

Tsunami, still standing over Gill asked. "What just happened."

"This is peril." Clay introduced pointing toward the unusual skywing.

Peril awkwardly waved "Yeah.. it's me...Peril!" She chuckled.

"Glory! You awake!" Clay said.

"Actually I was awake the whole time." Glory said. "The only time I'm pretending to be lazy, you believe it." She rolled her eyes.

"Peril can help you get your wing cuffs off." Clay said.

Glory was pretty uncomfortable when she felt Peril's hot scales next to her, but she quickly got her cuffs off and flew down to the rest.

"Who's that dragon?" Starflight asked tsunami.

"Uhm he is Gill." Tsunami responded, she quickly got off of him. Luckily he was unconscious 

"He looks pretty out of shape." Glory reported.

"Let's take care of him for a few days." Clay says.

Glory didn't like that decision, but she didn't feel anything could go wrong.

A few days later

The group soon rescued kestrel, and she told them where their parents were, they rescued sunny. Gill was doing fine, and starting to get in better shape. He could finally speak too.

"I must get going." Gill said to Tsunami.

"Where?" Tsunami asked.

"To the seawing palace." Gill said. " I am the queen's mate anyway."

"Really?" Tsunami said. "That means you are my dad!" 

"You should come too." He said.

And everything continues like normal except they come to the seawing palace with Gill.

What changed:

-scarlet gets injured earlier

-the nightwings don't come to take starflight

-tsunami gets to meet her dad when he isn't a psycho

-coral reunites with Gill

-Coral and Gill probably have more daughters after they solve the statue problem
