You've Got To Be Kidding Me

Annabeth's POV

      I was just sitting on the couch in me and Percy's apartment when it happened. My water broke. I yelled for Percy. I knew the baby was due any day now it had been nine months since I realized I was pregnant. He stumbled into the room, "WHAWHOHAPPENED!"

Then he saw the water all over the floor. "It's, it's, it's uuuuuuuuuhhhhhhh." He fainted. The guy who fought against Titan's and Gaea can't get over the birth of a child.

I walked over to our home phone, that was very uncomfortable, "Yah Pipes, he fainted can you believe it he fainted. The guys can fight a war but can't get over his wife's water breaking. Yes I need you to come pick me up.... Are you kidding me I'm not taking a cab. I don't care if you're in the middle of stalking your child's first date. Give her some alone and get the FRICK over here. Oh SHIT I know what they mean when they say it hurts.... YES I'M IN PAIN GET OVER HERE. Yes get over here... You better stay on the phone..." 

"I swear to the gods, she hung up and great now I'm talking to myself. Well I guess I'm having my first child at home with my husband fainted and my best friend stalking her child's first date."

I settled on the couch with my Doritos and turned on the TV. 

This was going to be a long day.

I held my baby for the first time while holding Percy's unconscious hand. I smiled to myself.

My family is so messed up. Piper never came, she legit called a cab and expected me to hop into it. She payed him extra to run the red lights and crap. 

I rolled my eyes and fell asleep promptly tired from birthing a legit baby.
