(I just revised this as I had forgotten to delete some of my older writing)

I ran out at the first sign of the door opening, which left me ahead of most as they stopped to stare at the big castle called Beacon. I went straight to the ballroom, where I found everyone crowded together and chatting, some people gave me weird looks after running through the door. I sighed and hid myself in the crowds.

I was waiting for Ozpin to come on stage when a certain someone saw me.

Ruby: Hey!!! You keep running from me!

I stare at her with ever growing annoyance.

Y/N: If I always run from you, shouldn't that give you a clue that I don't really like you? *Mutters moron...

She pouts at you, which looked.... Cute.

Co: I think you need to relax, and start over.

Y/N: what's the point? Even if I did, The problem still stands that she's annoying.

Before she could respond, Ozpin tapped on the mic.

Ozpin: May I be the first one to welcome you to Beacon, what could very well be your new home. All of you who have been gathered here today are here not because we wanted to support whatever desires you hold of money, fame, or glory, but because we have decided you to be the best of the best hunters and huntresses in training. You are going to be held in the best light by both the people in the streets and your peers, to uphold the legacy of the hunters before us. Know you are here to help people and be a guiding light in the ever scary world.

Feeling like as though Ozpin stopped a paragraph short, or forgot the next line, he left with what feels like a partially unfinished speech. The teacher next to him steps in and tells us to head to the ballroom...

Y/N: Why the hell does this place have a ballroom?

A girl with eyes as green as an emerald answered my question with an inference that is probably correct.

Emerald Eyes: Perhaps it's for some kind of recreational activity so the students don't overwork themselves?

A good enough answer to sustain my curiosity. Me and the girl end up going our separate ways, and I find myself sitting on the floor of the ballroom. People have sleeping bags and are currently trying to sleep. The realization that I only brought a weapon with me sits in my head. I heard some shuffling next to me and saw the two from before right in front of me.

Ruby: Yang, it's clear he doesn't like me! Let me go!

Yang (Co): Not until he apologizes for being rude to you!

Yang stares at me pissed, and Ruby looks shy and slightly scared at me. A sigh leaves my mouth and Annoyance fills me.

Y/N: Okay look, Im sorry for yelling. Now go away.

Yang doesn't look satisfied at all, but Ruby takes the opportunity to convince Yang to leave me alone.

When they left, the realization hits me. Im going to be here for four Years..... I think a part of my soul just died. With silence finally settling for good in my corner, I close my eyes and let sleep embrace me...
