You Shook Me (Rewrite)

I was walking around the Vale marketplace at night, why? That's because I really needed dust. The closest shop to me was a store called "From Dust To Dawn", I guess the guy has a sense of humor. I walked in, and started looking at the dust in the display case. I spent a few minutes looking when I heard the door open.

   My eyes landed on an old... "business" partner of mine, Roman Torchwick. We both exchanged glances, and went our separate ways. I walked out of the store with more lightning dust. I was about to continue walking, until two people flew threw the window of the shop. My eyes landed on a girl, who looked ...familiar.

Y/n: She has silver eyes, which means I better step in. Ozpin is probably watching.

I grabbed End Of The Night and rushed in to help the girl, who had looked familiar. I ran up to one of the goons in the store, and threw End Of The Night above his head. In his moment of laughter do to my miss, I punched him in the face. My punch stunned him long enough for me to grab a piece of broken glass and shoved it in his eye, leaving him screaming in pain. The girl, who took out the other goons, tried to look over but was stopped when she saw Roman running up to the roof. She decided Roman was more important then what I did, so she followed him up.

I took this chance to go back to the store and help the old man out. I only managed to clean all the broken glass off the floor when Ozpins assistant, Glynda, stopped me. She was giving me a nasty glare, and looked as though she was going to kill me.

Glynda: Ozpin wants a few words with you.

Glynda dragged me off to the police station, where I assume Ozpin is. She sat me /slammed me on the chair. She tied me to the chair and made me wait. The minutes pass by, and eventually, Miss Familiar and Glynda come back. Glynda started yelling at us,  with familiar getting upset, while I got annoyed. I was pretty damn close to yelling back when the man himself came in.

Ozpin: Easy Glynda, there is no reason to be mad. They simply tried to help, Miss Rose by stopping the criminal and Mister L/n by helping the shopkeeper.

Glynda, who didn't like that, walked out of the room. Ozpin sat down with us, and looked at me first.

Ozpin: Y/n, I'm surprised you didn't go after Roman. Why didn't you?

Me: The other girl went, so I decided to help him instead. That's it.

Ozpin sighed, he placed his mug down and glared at me.

Ozpin: I'll see you at beacon, and I would advise against lying to me next time...

I stood up and left, I guess he already knows about me. That's bad. I found my way home and went to bed, understanding that my freedoms are probably gone. Not to mention both sides want me, and will probably try to take me from the other. Life just got way harder for me.
