My heart's persistence
Is it my heart that hopes?
Or is it only I that thought
How big is this dome?
I want to be home
Your eyes and attention
Only that gives hope
But never did I saw you
In the depths of it
In the shallowness of this
Even in the mid
You were never there
Nature has its way
To make our paths intersect

When in sorrow
Your photograph has made thee aglow
You were the one who made thine girl smile
The thought of you made it shine
When in desperation
I wanted comfort
No one was there
I slept with a tear
Actually a lot
The heavens must have heard
You were there
But only in my dream

I slept comfortably
Woke up giddy
How I wished after
To be in a peaceful slumber

Every night it is harder
