The year is 3035, and the world has changed quite a bit. Earth, as you knew it, separated into two governing factions. Light law and Darkling, rule the world.
Your world and how it was controlled by the corrupt government is a big difference from how the Earth operates now. From a very young age, kids are tested. Ranging from a futuristic psychopathic mindset to a mentally stable production of the kid, they are tested and separated into one of the reining factions.
Whether they remain with their family or not, that kid is then stuck with that mindset for the remainder of their lifetime. The world is split in half by a wall. Large enough to keep anybody from getting in or out of one side. Light law, kept clean by the people, and governed with love, is a bright and happy land where homelessness, homophobia and any other diseased mindset is terminated. People are free to be who they really are without a judging opinion getting in the way of themself.
Darkling is a outstandingly different community. They have no rules, no laws, no prison, nothing. They're free. Corrupt in diseased mindsets and psycho lifestyles, It is governed by ones own interests. Covered in graffiti, litter, and hate, Darkling grows In evil every morning.
Now that you've been updated, let me tell you about a story.
—————————————
One foggy afternoon, in the middle of November, 6 teenagers sat at a steel table in a military compound. Blindfolds blinded their eyes, and their hands remained in handcuffs, keeping them stuck to the cold table. They had no idea where they were or what they were there for, and no idea who the kids around them were. They sat silent, keeping their heads up for anything letting them know why they were there. The sound of a heavy door slammed open in one of the corners and one by one, their blindfolds were removed from their faces.
As the lights hit their eyes to blind them, they each adjusted to it and caught their surroundings and the people around them. None spoke, waiting for the man who had walked in a minute before to begin. But he didn't speak. He walked around and unlocked each handcuff, removing them from their sore hands. The strange man walked out and a lady in a grey pantsuit, carrying 6 folders, walked in. She set the stack onto the table and grabbed the first one, opening it up.
"Valencia Valdés?" She called out, looking at them. She rose her hand up. "Here." The lady slid the folder to her. "What is it?" Valencia asked, but the tall woman ignored her. "Killian Klein?" The lady questioned. He threw his hand up and once again she slid the folder across the table to reach him without an explanation.
"Daphne Day?" Her hand went up and shortly after, the folder was right by her. "Malakai Moore?" "That's me." The noise echoed in the small room. "Ophelia O'Brien?" Her small hand went up. "And Roman Ross?" She finished, his hand going up.
"The folder you have just been given is everything on you. From your parents to your great great grandparents. This file covers everything. If you pull out the yellow piece of paper you'll see a date and time." The lady began to explain.
"Where are we? Where's my family?" "What is this?" "Is this a prank?" "What's this paper for?" The questions began. Surprisingly, they held it in that long. Out of all the questions the strange lady only payed attention to one.
"This paper marks the date of your surgery." "Surgery?! What do you mean?" "The surgery each one of you will have... To become a hero."
