After dinner, we rushed through our meal and finished before the guys.

"What's the hurry?" Jacob asked, raising an eyebrow.

"We need to attend to something very important," Zoë replied as we all quietly exited the dining area, making sure our departure wasn't suspicious.

Knowing that Lana's roommates are slow eaters, we hurried to our room to retrieve the water balloons we had prepared earlier in the day. We then stealthily made our way to Lana's room, placing the water balloons under their beds and in their pillowcases. With Perrine having moved to my room, we returned to the campfire where everyone was gathered.

It was a challenge to maintain my composure as I wondered what would happen next. Would we get caught? Were there hidden cameras in their room?

"Are you okay?" Nick asked, noticing my unusual behavior.

"Yep, just cold," I replied, standing up to join Zoë.

"What's up?" she asked.

"I'm just anxious about the prank we pulled on Lana and her roommates. What if there were hidden cameras that captured everything?" I confessed.

Zoë placed her hands on my shoulders and gave them a reassuring shake. "Relax, Charlie. We're not getting caught. The only camera in there is the one Phoebe set up to capture their moment of humiliation," she assured me.

I took a deep breath, feeling more at ease.

Suddenly, a loud "AHHHHH!!!" erupted, signaling the success of our prank. My roommates and I rushed outside just in time to witness the aftermath. I recorded the commotion on my phone, just in case the footage from their room didn't survive.

Lana burst out of her room, screaming as if she had bathed in her pajamas. Her cries woke nearly everyone, who came out to see Lana and her roommates dragging their soaking sleeping bags outside to dry. It appeared they had indeed drenched their beds.

Meanwhile, Nikki snuck into their room to retrieve the camera. We gathered in my room to review the footage, distributing copies among ourselves. Given the situation, it was unlikely Lana would make it to practice the next day.

I sent the video to Bethany:

CHARLIE BABE: How was the video?

QUEEN 🐝: So funny—I wish I had been there!

CHARLIE BABE: I feel a bit bad for Lana and her roommates. They might not be able to show their faces in public again.

QUEEN 🐝: Yeah, and I just uploaded the video to school. They'll definitely get an earful.

CHARLIE BABE: That's my girl! Anyway, I really miss you.

QUEEN 🐝: Miss you too.

CHARLIE BABE: Night, night.
