Well, everything has changed...

Part 2: Meet the Hargreeves siblings

Normally I prefer to be alone but now I am here. Klaus still held my arm and we stood in the middle of the cafeteria. He looked around briefly and pulled me along.

Klaus: Y/N. These are my beloved siblings!

It sounded rather ironic. I looked to the 6 persons at the table and smiled again only.

Klaus: Um, Could you at least introduce yourselves nicely for once and not look so stupid? What does she think of us otherwise...

Klaus's siblings looked at me in confusion. Apparently they don't always get along so well.... A brown-haired girl then suddenly started talking.

V: Hi I'm Vanya. Nice to meet you!
A: I'm Allison!
L: I'm Luther
D: Diego
B: Hey my name is Ben!

All of them introduced themselves once. Except for the boy who sat to the left of Ben. He is the one who stared at me in class. He looked at me again as if he didn't trust me.
Allison nudged him briefly and then he spoke.

F: Five

That's all he said. So his name was Five. Klaus smiled briefly and indicated that I should sit down with him. Now I sat there quietly and looked again and again to all.

Allison: Y/N. Are you always this quiet? I'm just giving you a heads up. When you're friends with Klaus, it's not so quiet anymore and when you're friends with Klaus, you're going to see more of us so tell us about yourself...

Everyone looked at me with interest. Shit, why am I so shy. Get a grip Y/N.

Y/N: Um. Yes... You guys already know my name.... I'm 15 and I live...

Suddenly I stopped talking and just stared at the floor.

Klaus: Are you okay?

A tear ran down my cheek. It was quiet and I got nothing more with what happened around me. After a short time I looked up again and Allison looked at me worriedly.

Allison: You don't have to tell me anymore if-

Y/N: I live alone. My parents. They are dead. My brother is alive but I know where. I looked for him many times but never found him. I am not used to talk much. You are the first people I tell.

Everyone looked at me in shock. Vanya even had tears in her eyes, but the one who looked at me most sadly and frightened was Five. He looked at me as if he had experienced the same thing.
We looked into each other's eyes for a few seconds until Klaus turned me to him and hugged me.

Klaus: Would you like to join us later?

I smiled at him and nodded slightly. It was nice to have friends. For the first time in my life I didn't feel alone anymore.

We sat there for a short while and then went to the next class. I walked between Klaus and Vanya. Behind us walked Diego, Ben and Five and far ahead Luther and Allison.

Diego: Are you always this small?

He was right. Unlike the others, I was a dwarf. Klaus and I laughed. I turned around for a moment

Y/N: I think so...

We walked on.

After class I came out to the schoolyard where the others were already waiting. I ran in their direction.

Vanya: She is really nice. I like her!

Klaus: That's why I talked to her right after class. She is different from the others.

I saw that Klaus and Vanya were talking but I didn't hear what she said. They smiled at me.

Klaus: I'll show you our house right away!

Then we all went off together...
