"... suna?" y/n mumbled into the phone. the small soft voice hurts suna. did he go too far?

"hi."

no response. she was giving him the silent treatment, suna thinks. or it could be that y/n just doesnt know how to say what she wants to.

suna wants to tell her sorry, that it was all a prank. a prank gone too far. but he couldnt bring himself to. he was nervous all of a sudden.

"are you still mad suna?" she asked, then quickly adding a "im sorry". "no, of course not. i just..."

"you just what?"

that, caught him off guard. her voice was quiet, soft, calm. no signs of sadness was found, even if he knew she was. "i..." he wants to do the same back. calm her, stop her from worrying.

"its okay suna. you can tell me. i wont let my emotions get the best of me. i promise. i wont get sad, mad, whatever. will you tell me then?"

"when has she been so good at comforting people? i never seen this side of her.." suna thought.

"suna? you still here?" of course he was. he would never leave her so suddenly on such a serious call.

he nodded, despite knowing she couldnt see him. "yeah."

then it was silent again, her waiting for an answer.

"y/n i didnt mean to hurt you, i swear. it was a bet, a stupid one, i didnt think it would go that far. i thought you would just laugh and continue your day normally."
"a bet?"

y/n was relieved that it was all a bet, and that he never meant to hurt her feelings.

"the twins— mostly tsumu, bet on me, that i wouldnt be able last a day without talking to you."
"oh"
"sorry, i didnt mean to hurt you."
"is that it?"
"yeah."
"hm. thats good to know." she whispered, smiling.

"OI N/N STOP SNACKING ON THE CHIPS!" the shopkeeper yelled.

"NO WAY NAKA!" she yelled back from behind the shelf.

suna laughed, "wait there, im coming."

"HAHA I KNEW HE WAS COMING GIVE ME THE MONEY NAKA!"
