Chapter 16.

"Why don't we head to the rooftop?" Amane said as he took her hand.

A small blush appeared and she slowly nodded smiling.

Walking down to through the hallways Amane began to hear whispers and he felt stares and he could feel Yashiro trembling a little.

"Yashiro.. could you wait here..?" Amane whispered quietly into her ear. She nodded and he walked away behind the other way.

As soon as he left a group of girl's came including Satomi. Satomi gave a little grin and giggled.

Yashiro noticed how most people around the hall backed away minding they're own business.

"Hello, Daikon legs" Satomi giggled, Yashiro looked to the ground and quietly mumbled.

"W-What do you want Satomi.." Yashiro said.

"It's Satomi 'san' how dare you say my name carelessly." Satomi growled which made Yashiro take two steps back. The other girls began laughing. 

"So.. your still hanging out with Yugi-kun?" Satomi asked stepping towards Yashiro.

"I-It's not my fault..!" Yashiro exclaimed, Satomi then grabbed Yashiro by the arm and gripped it hard.

"Oh yeah?!-"

Suddenly a hand grabbed Satomi's and threw her hand off Yashiro's arm, there stood a angered Amane.

"Y-Yugi-kun!" Satomi stuttered, "I...I" Amane took Yashiro and pulled her away embracing her away from the group of girls.

"Satomi. Don't you dare. Touch her." Amane said giving a intense death stare which caused the other girls to run off.

A little laugh from behind her appeared, "Hey.. Satomi senpai, your not trying to hurt senpai are you?, this school doesn't tolerate bullying or abuse" Kou said in a cold tone looking at her.

She began to get scared and she ran off  scared.

"Hey.. Senpai are you alright?.." Kou asked running up to her who was hugging Amane.

"I-I'm okay" Yashiro stuttered. "Hey Amane mind if I give her a hug?" Kou asked Amane who was slightly blushing and looked jealous.

He then let her go, Kou opened his arms out for her and she jumped into his arm's hugging her friend.

Kou patted her head and rubbed her back calming her down which did.

"Anyways I'll see you tomorrow, I think the bell is going to ring soon okay?" Kou smiled softening his tone calming her down more.

She gave a smile and nodded returning back to Amane, Kou walked away waving, so did she.

"I'm .. sorry I didn't protect you.." Amane said hugging her from behind.
"Amane-"

The bell then rang.

"What does Kou-kun mean by tomorrow?" Yashiro asked.

"Oh it's the last period right now until it's time to go home" Amane chuckled.

Yashiro POV :
I was unconcious for that long..?

"Also Aoi and Mei have been really worried" Amane laughed scratching his head.

"Oh, I see" Yashiro giggled a bit, she then took Amane's hand.

"Let's go to class then shall we?" Yashiro said with a soft smile and a sweet voice while putting a hand on his shoulder.

"What-"

"Tag your it!~" Yashiro exclaimed running off giggling poking the tongue at him.

Amane POV : still the same as ever heh..

"Wait just a minute! You got a headstart!"

Hello lovely readers!! I've been inactive due to sleepdeprived and a bit recovering from my Anxiety, I've had a hard time lately..

It's been hard stopping these thoughts I usually get and the stress and pressure but writing and reading makes me feel all better, life isn't perfect I know but nothings perfect.
