Just Friends

short amigops edition !!!!

"Toast.. do you think they're done?" It was already 2 am, Corpse and Toast had just come back from the store. They were out looking for equipment and snacks for tomorrow's stream. uhh- technically it's today's stream.

Months ago Rae and Corpse suggested the idea of doing an IRL mario party stream and after months of planning it's finally happening. 

Well, toast ended up doing most of the planning but it is what it is.

After eating dinner together, Corpse and Toast left the two other Amigops to buy all the stuff and the other two who stayed were supposed set up the place, the consoles, and everything else.

"I don't think they did anything," Toast said.

Both Corpse and Toast took all the stuff they just bought from the car and walked in into Sykkuno's apartment, where they decided to do the stream.

"We're back! We brought the good stuff here!" Toast screamed when he entered the front door.

No one answered him

"Rae? Sykkuno?" Corpse tried to call them too, but still, no one answered.

"Where the fuck are those two idiot" Toast looked for them around the house.

He walked into the living area, and from behind toast immediately caught Sykkuno's figure. 

He was sitting down on the couch, his head slightly tilted to the side, his body moving in rhythm with his breath. He was clearly asleep.

Toast walked in closer to him only to find one more body on the couch.

It was Rae. She was curled up on the couch sound asleep, her head was placed on Sykkuno's thigh, using it as her pillow.

Toast paused for a while, he stared at his two best friends. 

He stared at Sykkuno's hands, one of it was settled on top of her head, fingers deep into her hair as if he was running his fingers through it before he fell asleep. The other hand was holding her upper arm gently but also firmly.

Not long after, Corpse came into the room and did the same thing as toast did, stared at them.

"Well, at least they did their job," Toast said, breaking the silence. He looked around the room, all the consoles, controllers, even the PC were already set in place.

"Come on, let's just leave them" he said, while he dragged Corpse out of the room.

"How much longer do you think it will take them to realize their feelings?" Corpse asked, on their way out

"You know Corpse, at this point I believe that at the age of 70 years old, after spending their whole damn life together, they still won't admit that they like each other more than just friends"

"That is exactly what I was thinking," Corpse chuckled.

"Can't believe having me as their third-wheel wasn't enough, guess we're forever gonna be fourth-wheeling this thing"

"I don't really mind.. I love being friends with the three of you"

"Those two fools... I just don't understand them"

**btw if y'all haven't realized I can only handle writing fluff / light hearted fics bc if I started writing conflicts / more plots my brain will go boom boom and I most likely won't be able to finish them LOL.. so yeah hope yall enjoy this short amigops edition <3
