Journey towards dream

The meeting was intense. Mr. Black first demonstrate our clients about the project we are now investing. Then we discussed about the pros and cons of the project. When everyone agreed going with the project, next we started planning about the estimation, materials etc. I was very much focused in the meeting, taking notes, highlighting the main parts as when Mr. Black asked me for note I will be prepared so to not to offend him anymore.

 Soon time fly by.  When I glanced at my watch its already 5.00 pm. And I'm yearning for a coffee. As the meeting ends our clients leave from the meeting room and after telling me prepare the necessary documents for the meeting Mr. Black also went to his cabin.

I quickly made a coffee for myself and Mr. Black in the cafeteria knowing he will be needed it soon. Amusingly we both favor same taste for coffee. After making the coffee I walk to Mr. Black's cabin knocking the door  for permission.

"Enter."

"Sir, this is your coffee, I thought you will be needed one after the meeting."

"Oh, thank you Miss Collins. Actually I very much needed it."

"No problem sir. If you nothing I will now go to prepared the documents."

"Yes, You may."

I take my sit sipping the coffee while I think about my life till now. I never asked for many thing in my life. I always wanted it simple. Earning a decent amount of money to take care of my necessities, secure life life for me and my family, a good husband and one or two children. If possible then procuring my hobby.

I quickly came back from my thought as I started with my pending works. When I'm done with my work its already 7.00 pm.

I knock on the door of Mr. Blacks cabin and enter after confirmation.

"Sir, I have completed my tasks, please take a look."

"Please put it on the table and you can leave. Its already late. I will check the file after finishing my pending work, if anything needed to work on I will mail you."

"Okay sir."

"You can leave now. And Miss Collins though its not my business to interfere in your personal matter. Please be careful with whom you associates. Not everyone is as innocent as you. And you have absolutely no idea about the world."

"I don't understand Sir."

"You will. Give it a thought. For now leave for home."

"Okay Sir."

I took my bag and car key from my cabin and walk to the elevator. When I reached the ground floor, I nodded at the security guard and walk out from the building to the parking lot. Taking my car I started for home sweet home.

After reaching home I hear laughing coming from the living room. As I walk through I get to see Liam and my parents are chatting happily. 'What a surprise, he never told me that he is coming for a visit.' I thought my self.

My mom notice me.

"Oh dear, you have finally came. Liam has been waiting for so long to take you to dinner." my mom said.

"Sorry for late coming But he doesn't inform me about the dinner." I told them/

"Yes, because he wanted to give you a surprise." my dad inform me.

"Its okay Wanda if you are not comfortable we will not go. We can have dinner here." Liam said.

Before I can reply my mom butted in. "Why not, she is free anyway."

"Its okay Liam. But next time please give me a msg as such so you don't have to wait, and give me some time to change." I said him.

"Yeah sure."

Liam took me to a popular restaurant. He already reserved a sit for us. The staff took us to our sit and handing us the menu. Without asking for my choice Liam ordered food for both of us which socks me. But I don't say anything.

The waiter quickly bought us food. But taking a sip some of my rink spilled on my dress. I excused myself  and started walking to the washroom. Then I saw Mr. Black again. Sitting two sit front of us. He looked at me but don't say anything.

After doing my job I came back to my sit noticing Liam already half through his meal. Strange. I thought he must have some plans later as he is also a very busy person. I quickly finish mine and after we done Liam paid for the food and we are ready to go. Liam asked me to take my time as he will go taking his car out from the lot. As I was start to stand suddenly my I feel dizziness in my head. I sit back to my sit.

 After taking some time I again try to stand up but again my head spins. I saw Liam walking towards me but before he came to me I saw Mr. Black coming towards me with concern in his face. They both came to my side to help me when Mr. Black throw a punch towards Liam But I could ask anything I darkness hit me hard.
