I sat at the club stressing the fuck out, taking a sip of my alcohol I hissed wiping my busted lip. I thought about everything that had happened in the last twenty four:
Back that azz up played on the speakers throughout the house. We had been back in Florida for a week and the house hosted a frat party. Heaven and Aahnsty said they would come later in the night after they got the baby to sleep so that's why they won't here yet.
I had been smoking so I was higher than a mug but I decided on just chilling with punch tonight. One of the sorority girls came over to me and sat in my lap, "Hey jay" she said giggling I motioned a wassup with my head and continued drinking my drink. Feeling funny I held my head lightly, She started grinding and twerking on me while kissing my neck and I was too Outta this wack to do anything. "Oh shit" I heard one of my brother's say, next thing you know the girl on my lap was snatched off and I was punched in my lip. Heaven beat ol girl up while I carried aahnsty upstairs getting beat up.
"Fuck you" she screamed shaking and punching me crying. "Chill the fuck out aahnsty" I told her put to no her on the bed, "Nigga this the second time" she yelled crying. She pushed me as I went in the bathroom looking at my lip. "You better be glad I don't hit women" I told her, "you wouldn't hit shit fuck you Jayvon" she said her and the commotion downstairs was getting to my head. "Shut the fuck up before I kill yo ass" I screamed at her making her flinch blocking her face. She grabbed a knife out of reflex pointing it at me.
"Fuck you Jayvon" she said waiving the knife at me, I picked my gun up off the counter and took it off safety. "Put the knife down aahnsty" I fussed pointing behind her, "I hate you" she yelled back crying throwing the knife and going to my closet. Me and her fussed back and forth until Heaven and some Nigga came in and he practically dragged her out kicking and crying. When she was being dragged out the room her purse and stuff fell along with her phone and the door was slammed.
Looking out the window I watched as she yelled and fought the dude collapsing in his arms.
I looked at my hand rubbing my finger over the positive pregnancy test that fell out her purse when I picked it up. It's like I should've noticed the no drinking and smoking and always sleeping she did but I just enjoyed free time I had even if I did just go with the boys. Picking my stuff up I headed out the club and got in my car.
3rd person POV "She's sleep" Jody said sitting in the living room with Heaven. "Are you sure" she said, "I mixed melatonin with her meds" he said taking his hoodie off along with his shoes. "She didn't wanna be touched, that Nigga was fighting me like a Nigga" he said shaking his head. There was a knock on the door and Heaven answered it, "she dropped her stuff" Jayvon said giving her the bag along with the phone.
"Come In real quick" Heaven said going to get his bag that he left the other night. "I should be getting back to the crib my head kicking my ass they must've spiked the punch" he said rubbing his head. "I drunk some of the punch and I'm cool" Heaven said putting her hand on her hip, "same" Jody said tying his durag on. "I didn't drink any alcohol until I got to the bar but I was feeling bad before then" he said grabbing the bag. "Why would you go to the bar dumbass" Heaven said shaking her head. "Aye you seen my pregnancy test" Heaven said looking through the purse.
"Oh here" he said taking it out his pocket and giving it to her. "Thank you sir" she said taking the pregnancy test, he left and went home to rest for a little while. ________________
"We just got good in our careers Aahnsty ." Jayvon said as they sat in the parking lot of the basketball stadium. "I let you hit raw, now I'm pregnant and you don't wanna get involved" she said on the edge of tear. "We just got stable in our careers and we got Zeke to worry about until his dad gets out. I love you aahnsty and it's your decision" he said kissing her cheek and leaving out the car.
"What's up coach" Jayvon said going to the court "you got coaches of 4 teams here tonight make it count" the coach said. He switched into his uniform and went to practice before the game. __________ 2 weeks later "You feel okay" Heaven said going in Aahnsty's room with Zeke in her arms. "Yeah I'm fine" she said laying in the bed under the covers. "You still bleeding bad" she asked and aahnsty nodded her head no snuggling with the dog, "you heard from Jayvon" she asked and Heaven shook her head no. "Come on Zeke give Heaven a break" she said reaching for him. "He is fine you just get well so you and him can go see his daddy tomorrow" she said sitting at the end of the bed.
"I called him over and over and over" she said shaking her head "I told you that boy won't shit when we first got here. I've known that boy for years he will play you and leave you hurt" she said rubbing her leg. "I'm gonna make some food so you'll be full for your ride since y'all leaving early in the morning" Heaven said leaving out the room with Zeke on her hip.
She tried calling and the phone went straight to voicemail once again. She left a voicemail and got up so she could go shopping.
Jayvon sat on the bed in his room getting his hair braided. "Damn what the fuck do she want" he said feeling his phone buzz. Tapping the voicemail he put the phone to his ear and listened to the message. "I know you see me calling but it's okay. It wasn't supposed to be like this. But shit happens you know. We probably still would've been together but your a liar and you did me bogus. The last two weeks you been acting like you haven't gave no fucks. You were my first love and my first love lost. You taught me niggas not shit. So now it's dog or get dogged. Thanks to you" he listened to it as the girl finished his hair.
"Fuck" he said getting up "You got one more braid" she said sitting him back down. "That's fine" he said calling Aahnsty but she had him muted on her phone. He checked her location seeing she was at home so he made sure to go there later. "Ight I'm done" she said letting him up, "thank you D" he told her getting up and kissing her cheek.
